So wonderful to see Letizia again. Beautiful presentation. Thank you.
Marvellous! The world owes The National Gallery a debt of most humble gratitude.
Watching this video in person with the person is such a great experience
What a spectacular picture! Hope to see it in person someday
It's very pleasant to see and listen to this very detailed description of such an important art work. At first glance one will think Michaelangelo Caravaggio is the artist and yet is Iordanio's work!
Thank you, thank you, and thank you.
I love this painting... It's so much more beautiful in the flesh
Insightful discussion of a fascinating painting. (And thanks to the video editor for eschewing the annoying background music that has marred some earlier presentations.)
Thank you very much for presenting.🌅

You're most welcome
Letizia, a favorite presenter of mine! Impeccable Italian pronunciation too.
Grazie mille per questa dettagliata e interessante lezione, Letizia!
Incredible painting.
Amazing lecture…thank you!!
. Wonderful explanation. 🌹
I love your work, Letizia! Thank you for sharing a piece of it with us!
Informative, interesting, and very well presented. Thank you!
Brilliant. Compelling.
Ovid’s Metamorphoses is not a collection of short stories, but rather a highly innovative long poem, a quasi-epic of interconnected and nested narratives. It was widely read from the point of its composition onwards, including the Middle Ages-it’s been called “the other Bible,” because it was so frequently cited by artists and writers in that period.
Very interesting, thank you all
Thank you! 🐈
Já estava esperando por uma nova lição sobre historia da arte, eu amo este canal.
Weird how the red line on her dress matches perfectly with the red cordon behind her
Great video! Thank you 👏🏻
Incredible!
I think his reaction ....look my head license 😂😂😂😂
Wonderful talk, as always! Can anyone identify for me the painting at the lower left of the screen, the one underneath the Madonna and Child? Thanks!

It’s a Gioacchino Assereto’s “The Angel appears to Hagar and Ishmael”.
Perseus seems modeled on the running figure in Michelangelo's Battle of Cascina
📌🎥👏🏻
7:42 why would that be surprising? Giordano's is much more realistic, which to a society before cameras, would be appreciated much more since it takes much more skill. Also, Giordano's painting depicts a story that is much more interesting than Ruben's.
Love art Love KZread
