Think about it this way guys: We got to experience an amazing racing game that most people will never get to. At least it didn’t live long enough to become bastardized. There’s still value to going back and playing it. Dub Edition 3 was the perfect “Car” game, at least in my opinion.

The immersion in midnight club made me feel like an actual street racer. Also you can customize your car ridiculously with soooo many options. Now we have PS5 and you have like 5 bumper options lol.

It's a shame that the Midnight Club series didn't go further after the South Central DLC...

YES so true. Dub edition had one of the best soundtracks in any game ever.

What made midnight club games different is not the street racer vide or the customisation but the challenge . The pinkslips, the champion races. It let you choose your way to victory and not stopping you by some invisible wall.

I'll never forget the time that I lost my Mitsubishi eclipse in a pink slip race against lester to win his Mazda rx8 because my little brother stepped on the plug wire and the console shut off and I lost my car during the race but luckily I had a backup car which was the 64 impala and I restarted the race again but this time I turned off auto save incase it happens again then I beat him and won the car back but then I forgot I still had to beat him again in order to win his car to progress into the story 😂

Just wanna say the Midnightclub series is something I hold near and dear to my heart and that the amount of replay value that each game had was incredible and lastly that the racing/car genre of gaming is missing the Midnightclub series like crazy!!!

You can actually feel & see the speed on midnight club 3, I remember I had to react so fast not to crash & the swerving aspect was great

Street Legal Racing Redline (Physical Engine Customization, Wheels down to the Brakes, Interior Customization) and came out in 2004. Check out Vstanced.

I have always loved the Midnight Club Series. I was upset when it became backwards compatible because I lost the Audi R8 that I worked so hard to get because the website basically no longer exists.

The one in-depth city idea was gold but nah MCLA just didn’t have the financial backing it deserved. With all the garbage NFS been releasing and the same old same old that Forza releases, a new heavily developed Midnight Club would demolish the competition easily

I loved this series and wish they would bring it back.

I played both basic versions on PSP and PS2, and have to say that I prefer the PSP version because of its portability (but hated the 10-15 seconds loadscreens). My first car was the Dodge Neón SRT4, but the Chevys Montecarlo and Impala became my favourites ones

Ik this video is two years old but man I grew up on these early 2000’s rockstar games. Honestly Midnight club was one of the first racing games I ever played and sparked my love for racing games. We NEED ANOTHER MIDNIGHT CLUB. PLZ ROCKSTAR GIVE UR FANS WHAT THEY WANT FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2013 🙏🙏🙏

Midnight Club Los Angeles had a huge booth at Dub Show 2008 in San Diego @ The Convention Center. I still remember playing a prerelease version there.

Midnight Club: LA was my favorite game of all time. I've been waiting 11yrs for them to come out with a new game i the franchise. I hope they make a new one but this time make it cover the whole world. But 1st come out with 1 the covers all of the US and go through all the other countries and finally come out with a Midnight Club: World Edition which covers the whole planet or venture out to a futuristic one that ventures to different planets or one that utilizes futuristic cars like the ones in "The Fifth Element.

Midnight club 3 is the best street racing game I've played in my life, I mean I still enjoy playing it. I hope they make another one.

Midnight Club was so under rated. Graphics where ahead of the times and the map is pretty much GTA 5. Witch makes you think even more. How much work did rockstar actually put into gta 5.

Underground started my love for cars. U2 completed that childhood phase. MCLA made me relive it.

I remember hearing “real big” by mannie fresh when the game started 😂😂😂 me and my sister used to make our own maps and we attempted to play following the street laws (stop at red lights, no damage, etc) no one ever won, but we had so much fun!

I remember the hydraulics on MC3. If you timed it right, you could get your car to shoot up about 10ft in the air. Later on, I used to play it online and have hydraulic battles with people to see who could get their car to jump the highest. Those were the days...

not to be rude but if you truly love cars and have a passion for them dont become a mechanic. it will destroy your love of cars and become mundane because u spend the majority of your time doing routine services or pulling parts to send them out to be repaired

Dilan Pearson if you truly love cars, you would love working on them no matter what. Working for big name shops is what’ll ruin the passion with how they generalize the cars and treat them all the same

I miss this series so much.. would pay good money to play on new consoles

I never played the series but I remember the love the game got was huge. It always seemed weird that they just disappeared. Finding out it was because they didn't feel a need to push it is pretty disappointing tho.

I loved how they had the cop cut scene and you could just drive off when the cop was halfway to ur car in MCLA

Oh man.... I remember my Golf, I loved this car so much and spend a lot of time to tune it. And now I drive my own GTI... I wish this series back..

With the power of today’s systems and HD tv, a new midnight club dub would be amazing. The integration of the music really added to the experience.

Part of the music I have on my smartphone nowadays comes from the soundtracks of these games.

My friend Matt and I would sit in his room and play midnight club LA almost all day. If we weren’t playing one of the old cods or halos we were grinding to get the best car in MC. Miss those days so much man.

I loved this franchise. Growing up this was my go to. Midnight club 3 was unreal. Still play it today. M I wish they would make another one similar to midnight club 3.

My Memories of this series: Midnight Club 2: Was most fun, had the best soundtrack and the best Menu music. I even remember starting my pc before going to school just to listen to the menu music while brushing my teeth. Midnight Club 3 Dub: Was the only game for my PSP i seriously played, but it wasn't so much fun like MC2. The loading times were horrible and the screen was a bit to dark for a game that to place at night. Otherwise it was still awesome during that time, being able to play a Midnight Club title, while sitting on a train. Midnight Club Club LA complete edition: I bought an used Xbox360 just for this game in 2019 because i always was curious after seeing screenshots of such a realistic version of LA, and boy it was such a cool flashback, the heavy ingame advertisement of products like the Sidekick from T-Mobile or the Ipod gave it a special Zeitgeist and the map was so beautyfull designed, it felt like i would randomly crash into the production of an episode of the Osbournes. Damn u, GTA Online!!!

I loved driving on two wheels and finishing entire races like that. 👏😭

After the GTA 5 source code leak, we now know for sure that Midnight Club 5 was in development around 2017 as it was mentioned in the leak. Sadly it was cancelled.

The reason I got into JDMs is because of Midnight Club 2

Even today i still play it once in a while in my ps2, midnight club 3 was part of my childhood and I would consider it as my entrance to the video game world

Midnight Club 2 is to this day my favorite racing game. The music was amazing. DUB Edition was pretty incredible too. Los Ángeles had potential but lacked personality.
