After just watching a site talking about 2023's fest - this is horribly hilarious.

It is criminal how much Felicia Eve loves to talk about herself and how great she is and, then go completely silent when she is to blame! Such a class action lawsuit of a lady! Only wool she is selling is over everyone eyes that attended the Wool and Joke Festival! How did she pay for her new house?

Question: Do you know if this debacle has affected Felicia's business? I'd be very surprised to learn that she's able to recover from this so easily. Not somebody who is a knitter but I am looking to learn and then I found a whole bunch of videos talking about this event. I really do hope that vendors and those that attended the event could get their money back. From what I've heard, Felicia's behaviour and attitude was atrocious. Some people are meant to take the reins and lead and succeed- but it sounds like Felicia's just a bully that has no idea how to do anything at all.

I didn't know this video existed. This makes what happened in 2023 worse. They knew they needed extra help in checkin, parking, and volunteers. They were already wanting to move the venue to a bigger location. They had a production team to help organize the event. Seems like this year had not even half the planning that last years did. What is worse is that her store has been closed all summer, so that should have given her more opportunity to focus on Wool and Folk. It would be interesting to hear from her what happened that lead to the break down in planning and leadership. Does she think she can recover and bring it back next year?

It's interesting to watch this video now, as I realised during the interview that it seems an external events production company handled most of the organising and logistics for Wool & Folk 2022. I wonder if the 2023 festival also used a production company, or if the huge difference between last year's event and this year's event is because a professional company was not consulted for Wool & Folk 2023.

It was a pleasure to listen to your video channel with Felicia Eve today. The Wool and Folk festival has been a fantastic for the past two years and look forward to it next year. The vendors were good and meeting fellow fiber people was fantastic. Thanks for sharing this interview!❤

Excellent idea for a podcast. It was fascinating to hear about the planning of this event. I wasn't there, but have heard such good things from other podcasts about this event. Very interesting that I hadn't heard anything negative, or even how much the tickets cost before this. All the comments had been so positive. I'm sure there were issues. Can't have such a large event without them. But it seemed that the good outweighed the bad by a huge amount.

Great episode. I absolutely loved Wool & Folk and hope to go again next year. I loved the venue and that really set the table for a unique fiber event. I would totally attend somewhere else, but definitely keep the edgy, visually stimulating experience you were able to create at Hutton Brickyards.

That interview was so interesting. When you go to these events, you kind of forget all the work that is done behind the scenes in the planning and everything else that goes in to the live event. Thanks for this interview and what is the sweater that was in you background photo?

@@Fiberchats Especially when this person did what Felicia is alleged to have done. I know that if I behaved and acted this way and my event failed to this scale that I wouldn't want to go on someone's channel to do another interview. While, I hope Felicia is doing a bit of self reflection here, I highly doubt that she is. I suspect she's waiting until she feels the storm has blown over and she can come back without having people call her out... but unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

This was fascinating, so much work behind a yarn festival. I'd love to come to Wool and Folk one day, I wonder about bringing yarn back through the customs, Our yarn collection might sometimes look like a business rather than personal use ...

I watched the whole video and I think this woman (the one that ran the Festival that is) is like 100% MORE delusional than I ever thought she could be!! Wait…. People were too **star struck** to approach you and talk to you?? No… more like they were having a hard time biting their tongues to tell you how UPSET they were and tried their best to avoid you.

Just rewatched this video after hearing so many “feedback” videos for this years event. My heart breaks for her and her team, for the vendors, and for the attendees. I caught a quick scan with you in it at the Scottish Yarn booth, handing out the pamphlets. Hopefully many of your followers were able to lift their own spirits enough to give you some hugs of love and appreciation!

It's striking how defensive she is during the entire interview. If you are so insecure that you can't be honest about your mistakes, you have no business being doing this.
