@@juliemoses1909 I agree. I actually kept track of the weather in Svalbard for the last couple of months and it was not much colder than our winter here in upstate New York. I think a lot of people have misconceptions that they are living in subzero weather and that’s simply not true.

"Found an obese seal....what have you been eating!"😂😂😂 also, I would love to see a 'pack with me' video for day trips and your cabin trips. I'm super curious how/what you pack up for your excursions in limited space. Beautiful video!

It’s astounding how certain places on our planet look so outer-worldly, as if they’re on another planet. Where you’re at has that feel to it looking at it. Spectacular for National Geographic Channel and or Magazine. Thank you for sharing your amazingly beautiful escapes with us.

Our family does not wonder why you guys live there because we know. Just look at those views and that tiny little village so nestled in between those mountains, and those wide open spaces are just breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
You guys are so wholesome and I love your vlogs. Cecelia, I love how open and honest you are and so happy to pee lol (as well as be mystified that Christoffer didn’t want to be filmed peeing 😂). But lovely to see Christoffer laughing and giving us his food tips. Love you guys xx
I love how you educate on the navigation, food, safety, fuel and communication while on a snowmobiling trip! Thank you for yet another wonderful video!

The pee hole was so funny and yet realistic. Thank you for showing us 😂
I grew up in Alaska shoveling snow, walking back and forth from the swimming pool with wet hair freezing to my face, watching out for bear as I walked to the bus stop, berry picking excursions with my mother and her hand gun strapped to her hip. I can identify with your life, but you have me beat for the sheer glee with which you approach that life.

I live in Massachusetts, US. Not a fan of winter and cold as I get older (51) , but it completely fascinates me to watch videos like yours . People living in such remote , cold areas and to see how modern life is in the village and how you've adapted .Your videos bring your world to us and its awesome to see. I'm listening to the spring birds singing and the frogs peeping at night . I have generations of raccoons with babies that visit me , skunks, turkeys , opossum, chipmunks, squirrels, white tail deer , and occasionally black bear (to which I've been within 10ft of , with no incident). Your content is great !

@@no-jb8kp Incredible, isnt it? Most of us would never have known what Svalbard looked like or what it’s like to live there if it wasn’t for Cecilia’s channel. I much prefer to watch the videos from a local than what is said on National Geographic, Wikipedia as it’s often not at all a correct view of what the locals think, and much of it isn’t mentioned unless you know what to search for. Its not hard to understand why channels like these overtake TV. It’s real, genuine. And with normal people. Spectacular footage once again.
Hi. What struck me was the silence. When you stood there my house was quiet too. There is such a difference between the east coast and west terrain. Thanks for showing it.
