People hating on straights is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Our community is about inclusion and being able to express your sexuality no matter what gender(s) it is you're attracted to. It's not about erasing straight people, that's just straight up hypocritical. I'm happy you also mentioned the sexism that is often assosciated with straight stereotypes, I feel it's not talked about enough. (Before anyone accusses me of thinking I'm opressed for being straight - I'm not, I'm bi, I just believe in treating other people kindly)

Oh yeah, most of my family is straight. I don't hate them for it. I don't hate anyone for being straight. Technically people in the LGBTQ community can be straight. Trans women and Men can be straight

If there is a group that is stigmatized by people for being or having something that's out of their control, that is literally the definition of being oppressed. So yes, straight people are oppressed, they are oppressed by people that are angry that they aren't oppressed. sort of went full circle.
