Being Cis is a privilege? We can exist and do whatever we want? Bud, my elementary, middle and highschool experience was complete HELL. I was bullied, made fun of, and left out constantly. I was told every day that I looked like a boy or asked if I was a boy or a girl. People said I didnt take showers because I put temporary green hair dye in my hair everyday. People would make fun of me for looking "emo' and jokingly encourage me to commit suicide. I also suffered from an eating disorder and body dysphoria. Everyday I looked in the mirror and hated what I saw. If I ate a peice of fruit, id look in the mirror and see a fit girl. Eat a peice of cake, look in the mirror and I saw a fat girl. I had legit visual hallucinations that changed with things that I ate or things that people said to me. Infact as a 24 year old woman I still struggle with this. I also struggle with having small breasts. Women and men are under constant pressures from society and the media. If anything trans people are protected and coddled by society. Back in the day, like 10-20 years ago im sure it was difficult to be trans. But there are literal laws protecting transgender people now. People can lose their jobs for saying something bad about a trans person. To sum it all up, EVERYONE goes through struggles. Not a single person is "privileged" especially "cis people" simply because we dont experience gender dysphoria. Id say that atleast 70% of Americans are struggling with mental health issues in general, depression, hoplessness and loneliness. More than anyone id say men suffer from this. Cis people do not have life easier. End of rant.

I'm sorry you experienced this and are still struggling with body image issues. I can relate to both of those things, they aren't related to being cisgender, though. Those are struggles that people of any gender identity can fall victim to unfortunately. Priviledge though doesn't mean you experience no struggles, it means that you are fortunate enough to not have to experience the specific struggles that others do. For example, a wealthy person has privelidge in the sense that they may never have to deal with choosing between paying the bills or eating dinner. Or how a white man would never experience the racism or sexism that a bipoc woman would. Again, I am truly sorry that you had such a traumatic past and genuinely wish you all the best and hope you are in a position and environment that can help you in your healing journey.

@@BBMacsWorld Thank you for the kind words and I hope you took what I said into consideration. This notion that transgender people are oppressed needs to be reality checked. Everyone in this world goes through struggles. The perception that other people have it easy is usually the complete opposite in reality. You never know what someone else is going through. That cis privileged white man you see on the street who you think has it so easy may be planning out his suicide in his head. That privileged white woman from a wealthy family who has it so easy may be sexually assaulted every night. My main point is, in this current world we are all equally screwed from birth. OR you can look at it this way. We are all equally blessed and lucky to be here, experiencing life and conciousness through the eyes of a human being... which truly is the luck of the draw... you could have been incarnated as a cockroach or a watermelon in this life. My last point is this: Suffering is an inescapable part of the human experience. There is no escaping it. We all go through it. Without darkness we can have no light. Without sadness we wouldn't know how it feels to be happy.

may i ask a question please? I came across your video randomly because i was hoping you would explain what CIS is but you didn't seem to do that you talked more about everything else and that you think CIS people (what ever that is) is a privilege, I mean I am straight man and I have not been comfortable with how i look all of my life i am getting help with that now and starting to be more confident with it but it has been a battle to be confident in my skin I mean you no disrespect at all I genuinely would like to discuss different things with people just because we be leave different things doesn't mean we cannot be friends, why nit use the internet to bring people from all over the world together and talk about our differences wouldn't that be a wonderful place to be, I also think it is fantastic to see you on here doing this and bring people together the way you are I just hope that i can be part of it too even though i would probably disagree with some of what you say i resect your right to say it take care

I'm sorry you feel that way about yourself. Thank you so much for being nice and respectful with your opinions. In short, Cis is just the opposite of trans. They're people who identify with the gender they were born as. There's not much else to explain really. I agree with you that just because people believe different things it doesn't mean we can't be friendly with one another. That would be a perfect world. Hopefully we all get there one day 🩷🩷
