Mel is everything!!
I love this thank you Mel and thank you Doctors 💛
I really feel like what we put into our bodies is significant for our mental health. Just like he said, Keto diet and also add in intermittent fasting can be a miracle for someone with mental health issues. For example, I have a cousin who is not much younger than me. He’s diagnosed schizophrenia with severe depression. He’s tried to unalive himself numerous times and had long stays in behavioral health facilities. He suffered a lot as a child. And when we got older his parents let him stay all day in his room, in the dark “making music” and eating junk alone. Fast forward to now. He never leaves the house, and rarely his bedroom. He never gets the much needed sunshine to reset his circadian rhythm. He eats processed foods and fast foods 24 hrs a day. Lives on video games too. Everything about that lifestyle screams metabolic disorders which pile on top of each other to create one serious “mental health” crisis. I truly wish I could help him and send him this, although we don’t communicate anymore and it wouldn’t be well received. Super sad.
I absolutely love the explanation of this!!! I try to help my patients understand this! ❤️ Definitely sharing this.
This is great! Thank u
Hi! I was diagnosed with Anorexia at 56 and went into eating disorder recovery where I was strongly encouraged to eat everything and anything. I used to eat very healthy but it spiraled into orthorexia then anorexia. So, now at almost 60 I am prediabetic with extremely high LDL-p cholesterol!!! Now I have to go back to eating healthy without it becoming a disorder again. P.s. I am not overweight…. But my blood work is bad.
Thank you Mel for this very informative podcast! The Power of Food title reeled me in. Who doesn’t like food? We are what we eat.
I absolutely love this video❣️Thank you Mel 🙏
Oh dear… I work nights. Sleeping well and especially eating when I should (during the day), is going to be tricky. 😒
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are what you eat.😂

Metabolic is not faction body like eye can not connecting or connection mind and body
At 21:43 this switched over to an interview about sleep with someone else. Is that just me?
And what your food eats…including veggies!
Sleeping. Is. Hard after you get a certain age. It's harder to stay. Asleep. For 10 hours??
