This is dead wrong. Myabe in the long run we'd be better but not this season. When offense dries up, as it does almost constantly atm, those two can get a unassisted bucket. They definitely do not impact the team negatively. LA is 8th in blocks, Demar is shooting 50%, LA 51%. They're efficient, dont dominate the ball, and have been defending better. I dont see anyone we could trade them for providing any marginal improvement.

He's been on a Pop bashing fest since the summer. The team could play the younger players more, Aldridge/DeRozan less and try (actually try) to acquire a SF (that is a threat from beyond the arc). Still, I'd much rather they dump either Aldridge or DeRozan, move on from Belinelli or Forbes (as a starter) in the 10-man rotation and move Mills while his value is high (least likely).

@@joecool8290 Yeah I honestly know what the Spurs could do to improve their team but shit like this isn't helpful. SAS needs someone to replace LMA at the 4 and get a SF to replace DeMar. Then dish away Beli or Forbes. Patty should stay cause he's been their most consistent dude and is having a career season. He's a true spark off the bench and been vital to this team. Biggest issue is their rotations and those need to be addressed first. Honestly, this team could be good with the proper rotations

@@TheTyJager I agree, Pop has a hard time it seems in playing "too many" young players all at once. Thing is that the veterans are the main culprits for the team's uneven and piss poor play (look at all the poor rotations done by Belinelli and DeRozan in the video) especially on defense. Also, if he figured out a way to play Poeltl more the interior defense would improve greatly. He is being stubborn and too reliant on veterans (similar to Jerry Sloan and Phil Jackson towards the end of their runs).

@@joecool8290 the bench unit was fantastic tonight against the Nets. It's not like ALL the rotations are bad, but he needs to adjust them and not play Marco honestly. But we can go for days saying what should happen, but Coach Nick needs to do constructive stuff and say what they need to do to be better. He loves Derrick White, why not say what positives are coming from the Spurs cause the Spurs are nowhere near as bad as the Warriors or Pelicans

Thank you coach Nick for a great video. Can you do an analysis why the NBA tv-ratings are down and if it has something to do with the style teams play currently? Too much 3-point chucking, no rivalries, inflated scores thanks to fast pace etc? IMO there was more difference how teams played just a decade ago.

I capisce the precedent, but the teams currently ranked 7 thru 11 will also need a 65%+ win rate to meet it. Do you anticipate the Kings or Thunder doing that? I'm not arguing for the Spurs, but it still seems like you aren't acknowledging the huge drop-off between the top 6 and the rest of the West. Thanks for your post.

Spurs are like a band that doesn't have the same fire they used to have. Not that they're doing something wrong, they can still hang with the best teams, they just beat the clips the other night. They just couldn't seem to close out games and kawhi leonard's success last year really affected their identity. Along with raps' success with derozan being their teammate.

Great vid coach. Loving the sponsor. I think the spurs should trade Alridge and White for Nick Vucevic ( a more willing 3 point shooter and a better defender?) I think the magic would be interested because they would free up the center spot for Bamba and Isaac with Alridge occasionally playing PF. They also get Derrick white a big PG with range that can come off the bench or play next to Markelle Fultz.
