Sometimes you need to be close minded and conservative.
I needed to watch this!
The mind is great at seeing patterns. In behavior and in even appearance. If you notice those thoughts in your mind, it doesn’t mean you’re closed minded. It’s how you react to that possible threat your mind warns you about. Some isolate, some belittle. Some fake friendliness, some exclude. If you can resist that instinct and give them a chance, genuinely, I believe you’re open minded.
Not as deep as I like but it's cool that it's being talked about nonetheless...
Thank you sister
Being open minded in an closed society like yours is not simple
Living in mostly a close-minded society, it really pisses me off when I hear judgemental comments from people, especially our elders. I will be honest, I have mainly social media to thank for my open-mindedness. When I was exposed to other cultures did I come to realise that everyone is different and that it's *okay*. In Pakistan, there is a huge generation gap between the elders and the youth. What the youth accept and move on easily from, the elders criticize. It's not their fault either tbh because they were raised that way but it still annoys me. We need to promote open-mindedness more, I really liked what you spoke about in this video. Good work 👍
What a beautiful accent.
Appreciate the content, open-mindness is so valuable right now! I discuss open-mindedness in the last video on my channel as well, I hope our videos inspire people to think more openly.
I appreciate the deep content - open-mindedness is so important right now! I define open-mindedness pretty thoroughly in the last video on my channel as well, from a parenting lens. I hope videos like ours inspire people to really think openly.
Nice talk yet one final point missing. Follow rational to where it leads you and don’t be afraid to change your mind as long as it’s based on credible opinions and science.
