We know that happy people live longer, have better relationships and better health. Hi Christine I watched this with interest! What you didn't cover was 'learning to relax and take time out for yourself'. When we step away from a busy demanding career we can sometime struggling with our sense of self worth and guilt at having the luxury of time! We need to build for ourselves our 'good life'! It can be many different things as all our circumstances/financial situations are unique. For me 'the good life' is experiencing new horizons. I immerse myself in the planning, set goals around seeing new places of interest and researching the history. Boredom and routine are my enemies!

I so agree - taking time out to do nothing except relaxing and being with yourself is key. Some people find that difficult and meditation certainly helps. As ever I appreciate you for your wisdom and thank you for sharing it with us! x

Thank you, Christine, for helping us remember what we need to do to cultivate "the good life." With everything going on in the world, it can be difficult to believe a good life exists, but it does! I know I need to work harder on exercising. That truly is a challenge for me, because I'm "in the zone" when I have a good book that I'm very absorbed with and completely focused on. I come away from my reading so refreshed and feeling positive. You're so correct - it's very important to be "in the zone" as one way of creating the good life! Since my mind can wander at times when I'm reading, I would very much appreciate some help with meditating. You always breathe such fresh air into our days! Thank you!

Bless you Marti - will think about the meditation for sure. I am so pleased that you have something that takes you 'time travelling' nothing like a good book to transport you for a while. I do hope you are managing to stay cool x

Thank you for being so inspirational Christine. I’m a relatively new subscriber and also a fellow Lancashire Lass 😊. I am loving all your videos and as a result have just read The Glucose Goddess and currently on week 3 and feeling amazing and so happy to have finally found the key (at 66 years of age) to finding and understanding what makes my body and mind healthy and have never felt as good.I have also switched my Vitamin D supplement to the DNA company you recommended along with another one which I am very curious to see if it is the one you hinted at in this video. 😉. Carry on being inspirational Christine and I will look forward to your next video.

It is so heartening to hear that something I have said, recommended or done has helped somebody else - even just a little bit. Keep up the good work - so glad the Glucose method is working for you and I am extremely grateful that you took the time to comment. x

It’s my pleasure Christine and I always try to make a point of thanking people when it is so well deserved. It’s incredible how “little Steps” can take us in some wonderful directions that we never knew existed. I have lived for many years believing I had an addiction to sugar and constantly fighting (and often losing) my willpower and then having to deal with the feeling of guilt and failure 🙈. Your helpful advice, recommendations and truly wonderful approach has made such a huge difference to my health and well-being. I retired last year and struggled initially finding my new “change of purpose”. But after lots of reading and listening to wonderful podcasts and videos such as yours I came to the realisation that after several years of being a carer and (since the age of 16) and a worker too that my “Change of Purpose” was there right under my nose - Me !!!!🤗🥰😊 Keep up the good work and I will look forward to your next video (and which new supplement you are taking) - I wonder if it is the same as mine 🤣🤣
