Great video as usual. The velocity loss is a concern but the voiding of the warranty is what scares me the worst. Staccato's support and warranty coverage is great and I'd hate to have to find a gunsmith to work on the gun for another problem (not related to the barrel or slide) if I chunk port it. Custom stippling also voids the warranty as well BUT staccato is now selling the factory grips so I'll buy another grip and have that one stippled for sure. I really like how that C2 looks though.

Stumbled across this video and instantly fell in love with the show. Both of you are awesome and provide quality information while entertaining. Superb. I rarely/never comment or subscribe and was so impressed, I have done both.

Very well done, as I've come to expect from your channel. I love what you each have done to your Staccatos - gives me some ideas for my C2, maybe even for my P. But I'm not quite sure I'm ready to spring for a Chunk Port - yet. Thanks for this episode of Guns Out TV.

Hey guys, sorry had to bounce on the premier. My dad and step mom stopped by and I had my dad help me go through loading my first rounds just now. 3 of my first 5 came out right, gonna re-do 2 of them at my starting load, then make a few more variations, then out to my Freedom Farm this afternoon to test them out!! The "R" is a single stack full size 1911. The "R" wasn't when they were STI. Comes in 9mm and 45acp. I got both mine before they stop producing them temporarily. My understanding they will bring them back soon. I hope so.

Using the +2 2011 baseplate with a 16 rd mag. I haven’t used a 20 rounder on the C2, only the 16+2.

How did you fit a TTI magwell on a Gen1 VIP frame? I thought they cut the "lip" on those so you couldn't use a magwell. Will the TTI fit on the Gen2 current C2 frame?

I assume there's port on one or both of the STIs but I really didn't see them did the sights get moved back? Was there a loss in bullet speed? Did recoil soften up even more?

Yes the sights were relocated back, no noticeable loss in bullet velocity, and the recoil is definitely softer.

Is that a tlr7 on your staccato p? Also which brand holster you find make that to fit?

The TLR is on the C2. QVO Tactical is who does our holsters.

What range are u zeroing at and what general grain are u liking? I did a 10y zero with 115gr and if u go back to 25 it is shooting like 6-8 inches high right. Any help welcomed.

Generally zero either 15-20 yds is our preference. 115Gr is the usual.

This is Kristin from Staccato - on set with John Keys today! - both options have excellent performance. The aluminum frame option is a little lighter. The best way to determine which is right for you is based on how you will use it. If you plan to carry, go with the aluminum.

You dont have too. The gun stock shoots really well. Adding the comp makes an easy shooting gun shoot even better. But thats all preference.

All do respect horrible review of the chunk port you guys did more talking about grips than showing the functionality of the chunk port shooting the gun and actually letting us see how the recoil looks would've been great 👍🏽 a little more shooting would be nice guys
