What is the BLACKPINK music formula?
Музыка
With Blackpink's comeback we saw an increase in discussions about the "Blackpink Formula" or the "Teddy Formula". But what is this Blackpink blueprint and does it even exist?
Today we're gonna look at some of the key elements of Blackpink's title tracks and further break down how Blackpink write a song. We will discuss these key elements as a whole and then look how each of the Blackpink title tracks follow but also break that formula.
We're looking at how we write a hook and some key elements of their production. We're also comparing the general structure of pop and k-pop songs to Blackpink's song structure.
We also have a fun fact for you that contains elephants.
Background music is always self produced by the SerpentIris Team.

I think you focused too much on the structure of their songs-- which is still accurate, anyway--but forgot on what really ties the Blackpink sound: the modal riffs. From Boombayah up to their latest release, no matter the structure, Blackpink love their modal harmonies. But it's not even their own thing--their predecessors 2ne1 played with this even then (IATB, Fire).
you lost the boombaya(
They became so repetitive I started to stan some other ggroups. BP reminds me of the Momoland case. Definitely don't want to listen them anymore.

I don't think you even watched the full video lmao. You seemed like you dismiss it entirely and just comment your opinion without another consideration then leave. Ever tried to expand attention span yet?

And Momoland? There is a reason why they failed when they followed same formula while Blackpink successful. Because producers in Momoland can't be able to balance between subtle diversification and sticking to formula, Teddy does that better than them although I admit that he lost his prime since 2NE1 era. BP is more diverse an formulaic at the same time unlike them. Momoland is more like an one hit wonder while Blackpink still stay on chart with multiple songs and there's a reason why is that and you should consider it before making judgment. If you really watch the video, you'll get my point
