Psyonix wasn’t updating the game with any real content before epic either.

Epic “KILLED” Rocket League but Psyonix is also a major reason because they never respond to community feedback and they add useless updates / items to the game.

At least all Psyonix did was practically just ignore the community. Epic is taking it to a whole new level of "Fuck you" to the community by actively going against what we want for the game.

People leave and join every single day, there hasn’t been a massive drop off only massive gains because of new stuff in the shop like lightning McQueen and Star Wars. This is just how videogames work today. Deal with it or play a different game, because complaining doesn’t work.

The only way RL can thrive is if: - Community-seeded servers similar to systems like Torrents (community Still needs to crowdfund core servers in a month-to-month OR annual basis) Then, basically have a board similar to the Java Community Process - go through submissions and additions of maps like Lethamyr maps The player bases have to donate RAM cycles to help with server functions in addition to core servers constantly going 24/7 This plus in addition to actually maintaining an architecture where players are able to play games, be online, host/share various game modes, tourneys etc. Already calls for a team of devs working full-time and makes the regular costs from the gamers worth it If not, then lol we're left with giving RL away to the highest bidder The cheaper alternative I can think of is a party always chooses a particular player to host the games and players just hope the server's pc is strong enough

The best part is that Rizzo isn’t even following the main rocket league account

4:30 The reason it's a big deal is because these orgs pay some serious cash to sign these players and be part of RLCS. Epic ignoring orgs when making posts is only going to serve to hurt their bottom-line when orgs use this as part of a reason to pull out from the esport.

an 8oz can of redbull (the smallest ones) has 80 mg of caffeine while a 16 oz bottle of mountain dew ( the regular plastic ones) has 72 mg of caffeine and i think that's hilarious

when I went to a G2 watch party in London for the major I drank 8 free redbulls god bless their souls I love caffeine so much (I want to die)

Gaming orgs are genuinely killing the competitive scene of every esport due to the massive reliance of he scene has placed on them. If orgs stop filling roosters for a game, that game no longer has an esports scene as there is no more money in it. Therefore orgs have near absolute dominance in the esports economy that they can use to swing that dominance around at the expense of players, fans, and the game itself.

I’m gunna miss rooting for an org. It’ll change into the same scene as Fortnite, it’ll just be 3 players vs 3 players.

No creator matters to epic. It's only about money. You can have millions of followers and they'll laugh at you while they count the money thousands of people still spend on rl.

Cause it's still free to play and from an average player's perspective who just plays 2s and 3s at mid ranks, nothing has really changed.

It does get a little stale but its still a really fun game and there's nothing else quite like RL. There's also not many competitive type online games that people don't hack and cheat to oblivion.
