SUMMARY:
--------------------
We all want to live and maintain our full potential, to reach and sustain what is called “high performance.” Definition: high performance is “succeeding above and beyond standard norms over the long-term.” Here’s what I’ve learned about high performers as I’ve become the world’s most-followed and in-demand high performance coach:
1.Clarity:
High Performers have uncommon clarity about three things: (a) who they are, (b) what they desire and, (c) how they intend to perform and interact with other people. By knowing these things, they can stay true to themselves, in their zone, and highly intentional.
2. Energy:
High Performers experience and generate heightened and sustained levels of energy through training, discipline and focus. You can literally feel their energy because they’ve become present, vibrant, strong through their choices, nutrition, and conditioning.
3. Courage:
High Performers are more likely than others to speak up for themselves and to take more risks and bolder actions. Their courage helps them get ahead because when everyone else quits at the first signs of criticism or difficulty or risk, they march on.
4. Productivity:
High Performers simply produce more in the same amount of time as everybody else. They get into experiences deeper than others, and they become more efficient and prolific as well. That’s why they get ahead faster.
5. Influence:
High Performers have better people skills; they give others more time, attention and caring, and as a result, other people admire, respect and help them. Their kindness and generosity draws people and often puts them in leadership positions.
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that High Performers are not born; they are conditioned by habit and practice.

I like to pause the video after he makes a point; for example, after he names and describes a quality. Then, I'm off to do my own research - on the internet, in books, asking people questions and even asking myself - so that I can understand the concept thoroughly and figure out the exact and practical ways in which I can implement it in my every consideration and action. One can't just watch the video and skip this work, because without it, it's just wasted time. It's not enough to simply remember; in order to change something, it has to be what you're consistently feeding your thoughts with. It's very similar to making healthy adjustments in your diet - you just have to keep yourself in check. You have to consciously make this your focus, until it forms a habit. I hope this helps somebody.

Practicing Transcendental Meditation adds high performance to your day every day, which is why so many business leaders, creative artists, actors, film directors and musicians have been using it for decades. Those five requirements for performance: Clarity, Energy, Courage, Productivity and Influence are exactly what happens. It's a quiet process that unfolds your full potential. And it's effortless and enjoyable to practice and easy to learn. Thank you, Brendon, for describing this state that everyone wants to gain to be the best person they can be. It's life's highest purpose.

In the zone! I like to get in the zone by pumping myself up physically by celebrating something LOUDLY, and then also my mindset by pulling out my mission and visualizing it being fulfilled for myself and others.

Hey Brendon - just wanted to start by saying I'm a huge fan of yours, I've read the Motivation Manifesto and have been watching your videos for many months now. I believe that I have finally beat a detrimental and crippling depression that has affected everyone in my life and that even nearly took my own life. Now I'm filled with a fervor to help others so that I can hopefully help people live better lives and prevent people from experiencing what I went through or help them through it . Specifically I would like to do that through teaching people about Nutrition and Fitness. Anyways you're videos have proved to be especially beneficial during those hard times and it would be an honor to one day meet you/have a discussion. Hopefully I can make that happen but for now keep up the great work and thank you! (P.S. if you haven't already I recommend looking into Orthomolecular Medicine and the psychological and physical effects of it!)-Eddie

XOXO Reclaiming my agenda...cutting out distractions. Going to get greater focus so that ALL my energy daily is working toward the project, music, health, wholeness. I've been radiant lately (that's why I "liked" the "I Feel Pretty" song) like I'm pregnant but I'm not, not physically anyway. It's visible and dear God it feels amazing, that's the best way I can explain it. I don't know if you've ever been born again but God is using you in beautiful ways and I love you for it. I see God in you. Thank your wife for sharing. Blessings to you both. Love

Now it is time to take action. Write down for yourself, or as a comment what you could do to improve each of these areas: clarity, energy, courage, productivity, influence And write things that are really couragous and inspiring to just read/write. Challenge yourself to do something new. To become a high performer right now. Don't blame your past, present or future or anyone/anything else- you can just decide to become a high performer. Shout now in the voice of Les Brown: I am a high performer! (really - just shout it to the pc - have some fun) Have a great day, my friends. Brendon - I love you. Thank you. One day we will work togheter! :)
