Surprised no one mentioned that Lana is obsessed with vintage Hollywood nostalgia. Her voice, her look, her music videos, all center around old Hollywood glamour with a hint of sadness. Also, in this video, the girl you keep seeing who is drunk is not Lana. It’s old paparazzi footage of actress Paz de la Huerta coming from an Oscar party wasted. She was famous from the show “Boardwalk Empire.”

Like the music is amazing, and that is enough for most artists, but Lana puts heart and soul Into so much. Personally, if you do decide to do more Lana, I think the best way to do so is chronologically, because there is such a story there, as well as a natural progression of her sound.
