It's not. Y'all need to stop spreading this fake rumour around just because the video made a stylistic choice. You really think Lana would actually dramatize her friend's suicide in a music video? She's already said what she wrote the song about. "I would sit under the telephone wires and listen to them sizzle in the warm air while he went to work. I wanted to take the electricity and absorb it so it would make me feel alive and electric again. I felt happy in the warm weather and started writing about how sad and gorgeous the summertime felt to me."

Her production styles and cretaive dirwction inspired a whole generation of halseys, billie eilishes and olivia rodrigos. Taylor also sights her as a huge influence

If you spot similitudes between Taylor and Lana, Taylor herself said Lana is one of most influential artists in pop at the Billboard awards honouring Women.

The song is about a childhood friend that took her own life. If you watch the video and don't stop it every 3 seconds you might work that out.

You aren't hearing a lot of Taylor Swift in Lana, you are hearing a lot of Lana in Taylor Swift. You should listen to National Anthem, West Coast, and Off to the Races (a personal favorite)!
