It still kind of surprises me just how huge an effect starting with 10 real cards instead of a bunch of strikes and defends has. Like obviously you want to add good cards and remove starting cards, but wow.

The main difficulty of act 1 is balancing setting up a good lategame deck and having enough power to beat early enemies Big surprise when you can make a synergistic deck with a strategy from the start that allows you to setup a very powerful synergy deck with a clear goal. that matters much more then the fact that strike and defend are bad cards

With the whole Primary Class/Secondary Class thing he's got going on, I hope we get to see him play Monster Train sometime!

I've been having fun watching along honestly. I've had a couple hundred hours in StS and stopped for a few years; but seeing your series finally got me to check out Downfall mod and I'm addicted to the game all over again. Super fun series, I'd say, though I'd be curious if you'd want to tackle other cardgame / roguelite strategy games.

Did the silent steal the defect's cards? Did the defect steal the silent's clothes? We may never know. But we CAN know 2 things for sure. 1) It is ALWAYS time eater and 2) Claw is LAW

Ooh, endless might be neat, though it can get long. I spent a few weeks on mine, since I had the cultist blade for scaling and was able to outscale the endless enemies, had to abandon so I could play the game again
