Light branch is a neat addition since dead branch is one of the only relics in the game that can actively hurt your run. Makes sense to have an option to swap it out.

Light Branch via a campfire free action gives you the Burning Branch relic: start combat with 5 regeneration 🔥

Dead branch is only bad if you are exhausting down to an infinite, which is rare enough that I don’t remember the last time I skipped dead branch, juzu bracelet and shopkeepers mask are negatives more often than dead branch.

Oh man, I had completely forgotten I did some art for this mod way back in the day. Buncha those cards still look dope (Eclipse is totally my favorite)... Should probably do some more at some point.

Im not one to comment much, but holy shit I feel obligated to say that I loved every second of this video, keep the good work Frost and I hope we get to see other characters with this mod.

Now that’s what I call real content, beginning to end.

That was nuts. Interesting to note that the Counterbalance also applied to the shackled debuff, only returning half of the taken strength.

The story teller is just a culmination of what makes slay the spire, slay the spire.

Replay the Spire is just a very quality mod, especially if you just want a vanilla plus experience. I'm a bit played out with it for the moment and usually spice STS up with other mods but the fact remains it is one of the OGs for sure.

Bottled Geyser should just be called the infinite machine because god damn that thing makes infinites a billion times easier.

That run was nutty. Great video as always Frost. Would love to see more of this mod

The Heart fight was crazy! When everything seemed doomed... Frost's big brain clutched (and rampage)

Goodness what a run! From beginning to end this run was content! Immediate Dead Branch, new cards, cool stuff, and the inevitable exhaust comboes that happened, all of it was insane!

The last 20 minutes had me in tears from laughter including that little Escanor speech at the end. Love your content!

54:00 The Dark Shackles temporary Strength decrease resulted in only half of the Strength coming back due to Counterbalance! Damn, that relic is so busted.

Really enjoying the modded content. If you are looking for pure content mods (non character), I have some great recommendations on top of replay the spire. These mods don’t change any major mechanics of the base game rather they add a bunch or relics, potions, cards, event, enemies, bosses, etc. The mods below are really great, and the authors would probably be delighted if were to highlight their work. I play with all of these at once (it’s stable!) and its makes slaying the spire so much more enjoyable. Have you considered checking out the Library of Ruina mods for slay the spire? One adds effectively 2 characters, the other adds a full alternate set of floors.

Frost I see through your “accidental” click of the wrong campfire charade. You know damn well we are gonna come back for the next video to see it.

I would really like to see you try some of the touhou characters mods (eg: marisa , reimu , sakuya , the immortal .. ect) and the gensokyo act mod . Both the characters and the act mod have intresting mechanics.(espically the mechanics of some of the bosses in gensokyo mod they are super good)

Counterbalance is busted as hell with dark shackles. They lose 9 health for the turn but only gain half of it back. Just permanently loses them strength.
