Now imagine if the amount of damage the heart could take each turn was also randomized. Could make it something like a number between 1 and 400

If it was 1 damage per turn, you just can't win, no matter what.

The timer actually did stop due to time eater as its the act 3 boss. The timer is probably coded to end on the final hit of that boss

I love randomizers in any game, especially in sts, more of this please!

45:10 "Drawing Omega feels bad, man" ... Warcry, put the Omega back into the draw pile, Omniscience ... this whole run was so much chaos though 😹 45:25 Antares60 had the right idea in chat, but typed Warcry about 15 seconds too late to matter ... optimal is not required, well played with the Heart 📢

Also during the last time eater fight, he absolutely should have played Become Almighty before Ragnarok, and he should have played Apotheosis before Omniscience. Could have ended the fight way easier and more comfortably.. But also who cares? It's a game, he won, he did a good job. It was incredibly close, but close doesn't mean lost or bad. And we don't watch him for perfectly optimal gameplay. Also also, this is a randomizer in a game that's already incredibly hard, at the hardest difficulty the game has.

I found this incredibly entertaining and I expect more of this amazing content.

I have a suggestion ^^ not sure if it’s already in the randomizer, but maybe you could randomize enemy intents as well? So that they’re not always in the same order. Maybe with some tweaks for enemies like time eater, since he could just heal to half all the time

Goodness that one time Frost fought the Book of Stabbing that was an amazing moment of amazing content.

One thing that I think would be fun is every time you start a fight, your deck gets randomized. It would likely be almost impossible to win, but i think it would be fun to watch you try to figure out how to play a new deck every floor.

​@@shophaune2298 ~They had a race, and made a Rival dynamic between channels ~Fandom took it too far for PC; Calling him a cheater "just budget smallant", "always loser guy" etc. ~PC wanted Smant to make it stop , Smant tried but he obviously can't control his entire viewer base with social media posts even with periodic repremands for disrespectful chatter. ~PC Views it as all Smants fault and that Smants Disrespecting him, PC starts distancing from and blocking Smant. ~A mess up where Smant forgot to credit PC for a randomiser vid, this plus time they stop interacting. ~Whenever PC plays a game that Smant has played he gets the annoying comments/chatters again. ~PC Says He and Smant are not freinds he wants nothing to do with him ~Smant explains his side and that he was never aware of how badly everything affected him since he was blocked and couldnt contact PC. Asks for people no not be toxic to PC about this or anything else. ~PC says that Smants response wasn't an apology (Imo he doesn't deserve one, he just has thin skin and is misattributing blame, and exaggerated things due to his own insecurity) I stopped looking at anything PC after that so idk if anything changed, but thats where the story ends as far as i know.

a few things that could make this more chaotic: (its already incredible tho dont get me wrong) have every single type of randomisation toggleable for ultimate custom runs -floor order randomisation, so you start on floor 3 and end on floor 1 -event reward randomisation -card number tweaks, e.g random chance for cards to have increased or decreased stats -the character is randomised to be a random mob from the game (e.g maw, king slime) - campfire options are random, sometimes you can get a dig/toke without the relic, or can't rest/smith

A chance for the "Portal to the boss" to appear on floor 1, except it still takes you to the act 3 boss- thereby skipping the entire rest of the spire.

I think it should have a chance for relic from usuall fights, and also higher chance of them. Like Random [0,1,2,3,0,4,5,0] . And some hard mode for random buffs on enemys. Like green elite.With possibility of head effect.

I had this really good long term deck Barricade+, fire shield+, and like all other shield items you could think of. I would either barricade the flip out of my defense then chip away at enemies or if I got that one card that deals your defense as damage and just kill like anything. And then my goofy ass accidentally grabbed brimstone right before the boss. (Act 3 btw) I was losing my mind. It was awoken and he kicked my ass once he got to second phase.

Andrew was on point this video. 10/10

Imagine getting the Ooze Relic event and, after losing most of your HP, getting the Mark of Bloom. Ngl, that would be hilarious.

gaussian distribution number of cards in the card reward such that 15% of the times there is 0 cards. an option for snecko eye at the start would be interesting. since bosses can be encountered randomly there should be the option to take a curse to dodge such a brutal run ender.

shops can give the same relic multiple times, tying relic rewards to the seed and shifting relic list would prevent this.

i think itd be funny if enemies could pull from any attack in their tool regardless of conditions every turn, ie: big attack :)

I know the zooming on cards during upgrades is mostly done for easier reading, but not having played StS for a while so not knowing what's good I always imagine the implication is that he's making some kind of terrible mistake.

He's: The Pointcrow of Peglin... The Smallant of STS... The Ludwig of Losing...

If possible it should randomize item value in shops as well, giving all cards and relics in the shop a random gold value between one and the most expensive an item can be.

Check out the relic upgrade mod and do your every relic is blank but with that (you have to use the chat command to gain all the keys)

@@cany0udance I'm at least 99% sure that earlier versions of the game (well before the watcher's inclusion) had some fire robot golem thing that summoned fireballs. It had no animation at the time, but it was functionally identical to the reptomancer. Just some weird old beta stuff. Maybe include it as an encounter like the apology slime

This mod should have a chaos option. Where ALL numbers on cards change. Like strike dealing 0 damage or 32.
