@@jacobfett It is a very strange scenario. On one hand Yoda would not have sent Luke away until he was confident he could defeat the emperor, which he definitively has the ability, having the same potential as Anakin. On the other hand Anakin must bring balance, I suppose Anakin can technically still "kill" the Sith if Luke kills Sidious and then Anakin kills Vader by redeeming himself but that would end up making the prophecy just a technicality.

If Luke stayed on Dagobah he won’t have a green saber in Return of the Jedi and was R2 along with the Rebels during the battle of endor

Don't be so sure. Part of a Jedi's training is constructing their own lightsaber. There's a real chance that the reason Luke chose green (after all, in the Legends continuity that is the only one I care about, he makes his own synthetic crystal, there must be a reason he chose green) was something personal and internal. The same reason Consulars leaned towards green and guardians Blue

Everything was going good until you said palpatine would injure Luke. I’m pretty sure Luke would have beaten palpatine because yoda told him not to underestimate the emperor. Luke would be too fast for the emperor to even land a strike on Luke. He completed his training come on now.

The main point was to keep Anakin killing Palpatine because, well he is the Chosen One not Luke. I just wanted to stay true to that original story point. Not discrediting Luke, its just how I decided to make it. Appreciate your feedback!

@@jacobfettyeah you’re right. And also don’t you think Luke would have still constructed his own lightsaber because I remember part of the Jedi training was also to construct their own lightsaber if I remember correctly?

@@gabrielaj2066 yeah for sure! I should have definitely added a scene of him making a lightsaber while Luke was on Dagobah. I thought it would also be kinda cool to see Luke fight Vader with his old saber.
