    Hey man, nice project you got there. I just wanted to say that imo it’s better to stick to one art style. There’s a contrast between pixel art and this sorta doll animation of everything else. Good luck Coduck!

    It would be really cool to be able to exploit the environment to do damage to enemies (e.g drop platforms or other objects on them, explode bombs nearby, etc.)

    Some (quite frankly terrible) ideas: - Instead of having melee units attack you from range, you could make it so they have to attack the bottom of the tower when they're next to it. That allows you to add ground units that make sense in having range - mages, rangers, cannons etc. It also allows the introduction of units of mixed type, for example monsters who have both a low power ranged attack and will attack the tower for much more in melee when they get next to it. - While the floating planks are okay, it would be more fun if things had a tiny more bit of "realism". Does every ground unit need to be surrounded in thick floating walls? Why not be more creative and have them "push" walls on wheels (the wheels are just cosmetic). You can also have mages that stay in the back but build magic shields for flying units so that it makes more sense than just floating chunks of wood. If you kill the mage through their thick magic shield, the flying units don't have shields anymore, and if the mage lasts until the end of combat, they run away. It's not really something that's needed in the game and would be extremely limiting in terms of creative freedom, but at least for me random flying shapes aren't really appealing. At least not those big boxes (7:09) and rectangles (16:46). If the rectangles at least had a shield (deltoid) shape they would look much better. Maybe if the big boxes on the ground had cosmetic wheels and the floating ones had cosmetic propellers they'd look better. - Players love physics. If you remember the flashgame Crush the Castle, you'll know what I'm talking about - being able to have things collapse of topple on top of enemies (like siege towers) is fun. Of course what isn't fun is that would be extremely hard to do with the current system in the game and how things work. So, not a great idea for this game, but maybe for the sequel :P - biggest issue I have - 14:15 the spider isn't in the center of the web. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. And I know that it's because the web looks better that way and it's impossible to place the spider in the middle without redesigning it but spiders love that spot D:

    I could see it being useful to start out with an Armor, Multishot and maybe Strength arrow to round it off a bit at the start. Also having a "hero power" that lets you skip an arrow with a one or two turn cooldown to further strategize how and when you wish to shoot which arrow would help in any given situation.

    I think the most annoying part about this game is the fact that each of those tile structures moves one at a time and it takes forever between turns as a fight progresses.

    Even the tanki mobs with melee weapons with lots of HP can hit you from afar wtf...that is just unfair.

    I'm really digging the colored borders on the thumbnails, Retro! Ik it seems insignificant, but your thumbnails are unironically one of my favorite things about your channel so I do take notice (I don't think I'm the only one who does).

    @@Retromation I hadn’t noticed at first, but I think having the colors match the rest of the thumbnail does add a nice level of polish. The fact that I didn’t notice is a good thing cuz I likely only would have noticed had I been told or if they looked so awful that it stood out LOL

    God, Crush The Castle, now that's a memory. What a banger flash game, I played that so much. This game also seems pretty solid, for a demo, it's a fantastic foundation.

    Retro the red arrow and others feel bad because you got the artifact that equalizes all arrows into medium weight. It lost its thing.

    I don't think it is heavy, but why would a different weight really be that _helpful,_ it is just _different._ It isn't like you can swap arrows to suit your need.

    @@Retromation heavy weight increases the arch , light weight decreases it. you can make a heavy arrow ''fall'' on a ground enemy while shooting between barricades light weight flies straight with little drop pretty nice to '' snipe'' through a small hole you made into the barricades. you can also shoot up with heavy ones to '' rain down'' on enemies

    @@Retromation edit never mind I loaded the game again and the red arrow don't even have special weight! it just plain sux, my bad. I like the heavy ones for trick shots although. game would be a lot better if you could select which arrow to fire

    Game needs a lot of polish and balancing. The game concept is decent but the gameplay feels too slow. It's not satisfying.
