It's so interesting seeing all these roguelike takes on casino games, all somehow coming out around the same time. Balatro for some kind of poker, Bingle Bingle for roulettes, Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers for blackjack..

I’m so happy these games exist, I can scratch the itch to gamble without actually spending money

Very legit addition to the genre. I wouldnt mind seeing a few more runs. There is still all that stuff left to unlock in the shop at least.

I think the only tweak needed is the button to say “switch” instead of “discard” because discard sounds like you are getting rid of the chip. Just something that makes a bit more sense and makes it easier for the first time players.

You won’t believe it but though I don’t think Retro has covered it, there is a Steam game called ULTIMAHJONG that I literally just found today & is exactly in the spirit of this & Balatro but obviously with Riichi Mahjong as the basis! Has a demo & everything

Fun fact: bingle bingle is a phrase used in korean to describe something that is spinning, hence the wheel

I bet there's a boss in here that reduces or nullifies points from repeat numbers that would absolutely destroy this run. As it was though the final boss wasn't even slightly a challenge. Would have loved to see what your maximum possible points could have been by the end, must have been in the millions.

There's a boss that freezes your most common number. Not sure what happens if the entire wheel gets frozen but you probably lose

Love the music, and that it has layers that get switched depending on what's going on. Really clever.

Sooner or later we're going to have rougelikes for an entire casino

sadly many companies disallow these games due to them claiming they are related to or encourage real-world gambling (even when mobile games are far worse for that), it's actually a big problem and has seen card games and similar unable to get the audience they could, a very stigmatized genre.

The UI is very neat and clean

This looks fun as heck. Definitely down to see more!

nice game, but definitely has balance issues. and the UI could be better. there's so much space but why is every icon so small?

Gambling games have always piqued my interest and I’ve loved Poker, Blackjack & Mahjong on stuff like Clubhouse Games so between Balatro, Degenerate Gamblers & now this, I’m loving the roguelike & gambling game deluge we’ve been getting recently & the top of my Wishlist is inundated with them. Now all I’m waiting for is the release of ULTIMAHJONG which I hope to see on the channel! It’s exactly like this & Balatro but with Riichi Mahjong as the base!
