I'm from Camden, New Jersey. Started March 23rd with coils on short hair., 2 months in only 1 retwist so far. However, I don't wash my hair, only to get retwists. Outside of that I don't wet my hair, it slows down the locking process.

Nice! I didn’t wash my hair a lot in the beginning either. I think once I was a year in I really felt comfortable with washing here and there because of fitness. I wish you the best in your journey!

Hey Gurl! Im frm San Antonio TX. Loved ur video! I'm 8 months locked and started from very short as well. I only wish I had saw ur video when I started! I think u hit everything I needed except I needed 2 hear that everyone's journey is their own. Not all of everyone's experiences will be the same. Almost all of urs were like mine except the creames and oils. My scalp and hair did not like them. They caused itching, flaking, and build up. So I ended up using Lion Locs bar shampoo. Smells amazing! And I use Isoplus oil sheen. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Very simple and very effective. My hair took off after that! I also used to dye my hair different variations of blonde. But since locked, I've stopped with the lifting of my hair and started dying it black. ( I'm in my 50s so I'm covering greys) Anyway thanks 4 sharing! I've subscribed and look forward to watching!
