I'm from Camden, New Jersey. Started March 23rd with coils on short hair., 2 months in only 1 retwist so far. However, I don't wash my hair, only to get retwists. Outside of that I don't wet my hair, it slows down the locking process.

Nice! I didn’t wash my hair a lot in the beginning either. I think once I was a year in I really felt comfortable with washing here and there because of fitness. I wish you the best in your journey!

My regret is I didn’t start sooner. I was in encouraged 7 years ago to loc my hair. But nooo, I wouldn’t do it. I’m 9 months in now and it’s the BEST decision I’ve ever made for my hair!🥰
