You might consider bringing a small first aid pack with you. Mistakes can happen and a cut or a bruise can be really annoying if you are a 2 hour hike away from your car. You dont need much. Maybe some gauze, a few band-aids and a small bottle of anti septic

I like your videos! And I try to watch them when I can. But I've got to say, when I have limited time and I'm looking to choose from all the videos that are out there, it's the cat that draws me in. It's like getting a two-for-one. Like in this video, I'm getting the calming effect of the cat at the same time that I'm getting interesting information.

To train cat that counter is out of bounds, each time kitten jumps up, use a light plastic chopping board slap it down on counter to make slapping sound saying NO, its just distubing enough to discourage the cat. This has worked so well for many people. If you have an induction hob please turn power off at main switch every time you are finished cooking, cats have been injured by these hobs.

Nice kit! I also don't really carry a knife with me, most of the time i don't use it so i kinda ditched it! I have a cheap multi-tool, but i plan on upgrading it with a Leatherman Signal!

How long are your hikes? If they are longer or distant I'd prefer to pack dried salami in packs and maybe some high energy snacks in case of a storm or God forbid a hurt ankle. Forgive me I watch alot of videos about ppl go on hikes and end up stranded. But I'm sure you know your surroundings that 21 k hike u found Taz on is an example. Happy hiking.

I don’t know if they’re available in Europe but here in the US the standard water filter is called a “sawyer squeeze”. It attaches directly to most plastic water bottles which makes it very convenient to use unlike something which requires a special bottom.

Who cares about all you take with you -- what you take home is all we care about Taz!!!! :-)))

No, I am not. I live in the EU and there are many German products at the supermarket.

Why do you bring dog/cat treats on hikes? It’s been drilled into me to never feed any animals. Is this meant for the dogs of other hikers you encounter on the way? On big hikes, I’d rather carry a treat that is also safe for human consumption.
