Had a rough morning and this video was JUST what I needed. Too many people insist cats are “less work” than dogs and it’s not true at all… they simply need different things!! A proper job needs a proper feline supervisor. I have photos of all my cats supervising various projects over the years.

FIV cats actually CAN interact with other cats so long they get along (no deep bites)! Thanks for building this for your furbabies, theyre absolute darlings, and youre such an excellent cat dad

My FIV boy has had it for most of his 13yrs. As long as they don't fight there's no problem. Keep on top of any infections and they do well.

As a cat's dad I can feel how much love there is between you and them. ❤

I’m honestly not sure if I prefer the woodworking or filmmaking in this one Keith. That awesome shot of the track saw cutting the batons, the cats exploring montages and the music. Such an unexpectedly peaceful watch

Mate, I love how much effort you’re putting into making fun activities for these cats. I have two cats and people don’t understand.

I spent a good deal of time this year building a “cat walkway” around the top floor of our house for our indoor cats. That and various shelves means they have plenty to climb on and run around. They’re so much more fun projects than most as the cats love them!

After 30 plus years of no daytime issues in my rural setting,heartbroken that I lost my Mr Tibbs to a Golden Eagle,so,there'll be a roof for my springtime build of my Cat Adventure Playground. Glad you don't have that worry. You gave me some good ideas,thanks.

This is great, maybe consider putting some old carpet or sisal on the ladder? This will make the cats more stable while they're on it and less likely to fall off, especially after rain, since they'll have something to cling onto with their paws!

A great project Keith, not too stressful to do as it didn't need to be perfect! I wish more cat owners would take a leaf out of your book and keep their cats at home, instead of allowing them to roam free and use their neighbours gardens as toilets! I must have spent £100's of pounds over the years on cat prevention methods and replacing/repairing plants etc! I work as a gardener and come across cat mess on a daily basis. It's beyond me why people let their cats out, when surely the idea of having a pet is for companionship and company! You must get a great deal of pleasure watching their antics in their new playground! Well done, and thanks for taking the time to produce the videos!

I used to have my whole backyard fenced in with that purr-fect fence product, but I couldn’t keep it secure, and my kitty kept escaping so eventually I had it torn down. But now he is becoming a door-dasher whenever I’m not looking. So I’m thinking it would be wonderful if I could make something like this attached to my dining room window. But I don’t have any of the woodworking tools that you do so I’ll just have to admire from afar.😊

Wonderful project! My fur babies would love something like this. I have an injured cat that will never be able to roam freely outside again so she’s confined to being a full time house cat. If I could only afford one for them. You’re such a wonderful cat dad❤!

I love every single thing about this catio! If I'm ever lucky enough to have a house or even just a condo with a balcony, I'm gonna have someone make one of these for my cats!

This is such an inspiration. The clear bottom on the cat house is pure genius, though I might try to add a sunroof curtain somehow for the option of making it feel more enclosed. Brilliant work!!!

If you’re allergic but love cats, there are some cats that produce less of the allergen. Most cat/dog allergies are based on a specific protein that is often shed in the fur and skin. Russian blue and Abyssinian cats typically produce less of that protein- my husband is allergic and he can put his face into our cat’s fur with no reaction. You would still need a hepa filter for doing the litter box, which should be a lidded box and have a air purifier nearby just in case, because the protein is still in the cat’s waste. In dogs, those with “hair” (ex: poodles) rather than fur, which don’t shed, typically don’t cause the same allergic reaction.

Those cats are loved for sure. They don't understand how well they have it. Good job.

That’s a very nice and roomy catio for your cats. You’re very handy unlike my hubby. I had my brother build a catio for my 3 cats half that size and they absolutely enjoy hanging outside.

I had a gray tabby cat named Micky probably 20 yrs ago. I loved that cat

Once catmint roots get a good hold, they can be put into a small to medium pot and hung up high. Bees and Hummingbirds will visit the flowers and you can nip off leaves or stems to instantly give some to the cats or use to dry to make tea. This allows you to grow catnip without the cats getting into the pot and eating the whole plant. We bought a packet of catnip seeds and sprinkled them into the dirt around the edge of our cemented backyard. Our cats couldn't keep up with the amount of catnip plant that grew and it was encroaching onto the cement by a foot! I ended up having to trim it every few months after it flowered and drying the stems. Made lots of gifts for my cat loving family and friends.
