My apology ** You must see my effort in taking care of the cats with what I have. In fact this house has room for 2 cats. But I made it with the materials I had. I repeat that in the future I have other projects like this. Because my time is limited, I can not build anything yet. Another problem I face is with the neighbors. Great job, thank you for helping the cats and I understand you perfectly I have the same problem. I feed a colony of 22 cats. Build shelters for them also. Tell your neighbors they keep the area clean for rats and mice. Excelente work! 🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙

@@heidiedvardsen3853 Here as in other places they have a program called TNR (trap, neuter, return). No more kittens, no rabies, and they are returned to where they were captured. The animals have a chance at life rather than simply being euthanized. (You can tell them because they nip a bit off of one ear.) That's empathy. I made a difference for one, she naps with me in the recliner, her forever home.

My sister has fed stray cats. We've taken in both stray cats and dogs. We do the best that we can on a shoestring budget, so it's nice to realize that there are others who also care.

For a moment, I thought he was giving them their own tv to watch ha ha. Just kidding. The camera and food delivery system are great and so clever. When I saw the heated bed, I said Aww! Out loud. So cute, especially when the cat went to sleep on it. I’m saving this video to watch again when I need cheering up.

This is pure kindness. You could be anywhere in the world right now, doing absolutely anything you want. Here you are, building a stray cat a house. A truly good person.

Your efforts to give comfort and food to the neighborhood stray cats speaks volumes about the person that you are. Your skills involved in this project are wonderful to watch! Not everyone can do everything you demonstrated. Thank you for being a caring human being. The world , especially the world of these cats, is so much a better place for them, and frankly, ALL of us!

I SO envy his technological skills. I can put together an outdoor cat house using logic and common sense, but couldn't remotely do what he's done here. It IS pure genius.

In 1964, my gorgeous mother made herself the classiest, most beautiful ball gown out of an ivory brocade material. Although a tender age of seven years old at the time, I can still hear the whirring and rhythmic click of the needle punching through the fabric. People who make things from scratch are awe-inspiring.

These are the skills that young people should be learning to help themselves in life & others including animals 🥰 Fantastic job . Well done you 🙏🏼

You are an angel sent from heaven Son.I always worry for the stray cats. Our neighborhood has a stray cat colony and it breaks my heart to see them out in the rain and snow . Alot of times their kittens are out in the road. My family has rescued 4 of them but there are so many. The time and talent you put into that house is tremendous. All the kitties lack is a t.v. lol. I wish I could shake your hand and give you a big hug. The Lord watched as you built that house and he is gonna bless you. He'll also deal with your neighbors. What a marvelous human being you are. They are never safe and always warm. They get by just fine without your perverse empathy. Hunger is their enemy. Also look at how healthy some if them are. He attracted the neighbors cats. My cats would take that thing over and charge rent.

It could also have been someone's first project, and they could learn a lot for future builds. And pallet wood can be any type of wood; I have used pallets made from red fir, red oak, white oak, pine, and even lemon eucalyptus. Your claim that "pallet wood isn't good wood" is extremely ignorant, and irrelevant.

It feels good to know that there are a lot of people who love animals, including strays.

​@King Joffrey no they don't. I take care of a feral cat family - and spend many hours watching them (along with my own indoor cats). They ignore the birds feeding from my bird feeder for the most part - and when one rarely gets stimulated by the activities of a certain bird, the birds seem to signal each other and all take off --chattering and chirping in the trees until the cat gives up. They're more interested in mice, voles and moles in the ground, but are so well fed they seem to have little interest in hunting. At night they sleep in the little houses I've provided for them --I know because I stay up late and check on them with a flashlight. They're accused of killing birds when birds are predated on by OTHER BIRDS as well - and by so many other creatures, while cats take all the blame.

That is terrible a cat froze. We had single digit temperatures and none of my feral cats got frostbite at all and did not freeze. But they had never been house cats. They buried into holes they dug into the ground and came out in midday to eat a whole lot and drink a lot of water and they did fine. But of course we were home to hear them at the door and feed them heavily. We only have 4. But I think perhaps a bald eagle got one or two a couple years ago. The eagle lived 15 miles away and suddenly police died my yard every day a whole summer. I thought surely she would return up north but she had eaglets and had exhausted her other prey closer to nest. circle of life happens unfortunately. :(((. Never saw it get cats but I assume. We lived edge of town and foxes, wolves, birds of prey etc.

Ahhh sorry for that experience. But I’m sure that the cat was sick and died. And because of this you are thinking that he froze to death. Their body gets stiff very fast in low temperatures. His sickness could be a result of cold weather of course. Or poor health which lead to not being able to find enough food and be ready for winter. That happens to many cats. That’s why they are born 5 -6 . Because one or two will live.

If more people were like this the world would be a better place.

Irresponsible pet owners who don’t have their critters spayed or neutered or regularly vetted are the reasons for feral animal populations that become overpopulated, inbred & diseased. I well understand the necessity of population control & have seen the effects of too many feral animals in one area. However, a few feral critters here and there in the city helps keep rodents at bay & is better than using harmful chemicals or methods to control rodent populations. When visiting NYC, I didn’t see any feral critters or rodents running loose. However, I did see a massive amount of pigeons wherever we went. I’m sure that’s not the only bird there was but it was the only kind I remember seeing. Birds can fly & get away. If they can’t - well, sadly, it’s survival of the fittest. Besides, what about the worms & bugs that birds eat? Their lives are sacred too. They just want to live. Lol! We can’t stop or take responsibility for animals that prey upon other animals. All we can do is take personal responsibility for our own actions and consider how our actions will affect others before we act and choose the best path. So, if you just have to have a pet, be responsible and have them vetted & don’t just toss them out by a dumpster if you can’t keep them any more.

You deserve a medal for your kindness, consideration, care and craftmanship. Animals have their own way of showing gratitude too, great job!

If there's fleas anywhere around this cats and they sleep in this warm .bed house well after a while they will multiply like crazy coz fleas like a warm spot too amd soon cats will be so infested it will bot be fun for them ,cushions and heater only good for cays where the fleas ate controlled fleas lay many eggs and can multiply very fast.

There are no shelters, no one cares no one fixes their animals and they walk by suffering people every day, much less the animals. He's done a good job. What comes next MIGHT be a trap neuter and release project for him... baby steps baby steps. Also these cats hunt the vermin that bring MORE disease to you (rats and such). Distemper is for dogs, not cats. Oh, and rabies? Not as much a problem in cats as in the Raccoons - 25 percent of them have had exposure. And in India its the feral DOGS that carry the rabies. So stop being anti cat person ms. debbie downer and give the man some love and admiration for his caring heart. He's doing what he can to address a problem.. You could learn a thing or two it seems.

This is amazing. A cat house with a food delivery service (and its very own utility pole LOL!). This man is very caring to go to such lengths to ensure the cats' comfort and safety.

Videos like these bring back my faith in humanity. These cats are forever grateful for all you do for them. I build houses out of plastic containers and place straw in them during these cold months. They really enjoy it and also they are reused multiple times. Bless you and the kitties!

This is so attractive!! It has a Dutch look to it and with the plant pots, you would imagine the neighbours would be assisting you in another beautiful house. Some people need to spread their emotional lack to those around them.

I love how the cats look into the camera and say "Thank you" with their eyes ❤

These animals lead short,miserable lives for the most part...The world needs more like you... God bless.

You are such a compassionate soul for doing this for these precious cats bless you ❤

We must all support such people, the concept of "stray" animal's would not exist if it was not for humans, they exist because of us, its our duty therefore to care for them, help support those people like this man

No it is our duty to adopt or put down "stray" animals, especially if they are an invasive species.

This man was raised by parents that knows exactly how to spread love Regardless humans or animals. That’s my believe

It’s truly heartwarming seeing those 2 cats grooming each other in your cat house. They sure enjoy that warm bed/shelter 😊

@@fvnt0miix953 Of course, I know that, so much for the 60/70's introduction of The Pill & have French Letters, gone out of fashion or what, b/c there should not be any unwanted babies & do not get me started on Abortion, which is the taking of a life, that has a heartbeat, at 6 wks of age, : surely, a heartbeat means living ? As for the poor people, in places like Africa etc., they should be helped with free education & the different ways to plan having kids & even to stop having kids ! America, has some filthy rich Billionaires, that could put their money into something useful, for the Human Race ! Instead of their fancy cars, extremely large houses, for their 1 or 2 kids & them to live in, expensive Jewellery, Italian suits & I don't know what dresses are fancy, anyway, ohh, & going into space ! Well, I must stop now, b/c I will keep on going, that's just how I am !

"wow I thought this was just going to be a simple woodworking project but it turned out to be so much more, and all with 'stuff' you had in your house. What a wonderful thing to do for these poor cats. The black one looked ill at the beginning but at the end he looked sleek and happy. Very well done. Look forward to more projects.

Thank you. Having rescued so many and brought nine home, it's just not enough unless we all help. Trap, neuter, release is the kindest way to stop the endless newborns.

Oh my gosh..this kind gentleman has thought of everything …very lucky cats..you are truely amazing and wonderful

When I was a kid we had so many stray cats in the neighborhood, so I used to take cardboard boxes, cut holes at the front so the cats could go in and out, and put cushions and blankets inside so they could be comfy. I would also sneak out food and water to leave next to the boxes. One day I saw a cat had given birth inside one of my boxes! It warmed my heart so much. But what you do here dude, is so next level. Need more people like you.

Can hardly believe my youtube eyes at what I'm seeing being built, and for stray cats. My doubts about humanity's humanity is lessening

I feed strays and ferals too! And have 3 cat houses nestled in my gardens, kind of hidden. The cats love them, especially when it’s raining. But the depths that you have gone, in all the houses you’ve made. It’s phenomenal! Thank you for loving cats. It’s a beautiful thing! ❤️👍

Is there any way to trap them and have them spayed or neutered? They do in some areas and it helps to keep the population from growing. It's more humane to prevent that, in my opinion. I do like cats but lived next to a feral cat hoarder who never got them fixed, never got them shots etc. The colony slowly died, many from disease, some died outside in plain sight of the neighbors. It was sad. And a problem for everyone nearby that had cats peeing and pooping in thier yards.

The best thing you could do for these cats is get them spayed and neutered. This just perpetuates the problem.

@Shadow Watcher A guy in California is making tiny houses for the homeless in LA. They are about the size of a dumpster, so they can fit almost anywhere. They have a lock and an overhead light, and coat hooks on the wall. The Mayor tried to tow them away, but a lot of locals fought back to keep them. Those who have one can now sleep warm and safely, and can even leave belongings in their house when they are out trying to earn money.🖤🇨🇦

@@redtieprojects So good to know that you live in Greece! I was wondering...What's interesting also, both us, Turks, and you call them "pisi pisi".. Not all other nations call cats that way. Your cat house is beautiful, thanks for all your efforts. But why the camera?? The cats inside keep looking into it. Does it disturb them perhaps?? My love from Turkey.

If everyone took responsibility for 1 or 2 feral cats, getting them fixed and inoculated in a few years the feral cat problem would be next to nothing.
