So you're saying that the reasons Mike O'Hearn isn't using anabolics is because........ 1. He was huge as a teenager 2. He has great longevity in the sport Yeah that's very interesting rationale. Arnold, Lee Priest, Jay Cutler, Cody Montgomery, etc. etc. all were huge as juniors -- I wonder what the common theme is here. Do you think it was somehow impossible for Mike to be using PEDs as a teen? Do you think it's illogical to assume that Mike's PED use has contributed heavily to his longevity in the sport of bodybuilding as well? I also like how you posted a picture of Mark Bell, yourself and Mike doing a lat-spread where Mike is significantly out-sizing Mark -- a PED user for over 20 years now. I usually follow your logic but this is a very interesting video. Bottom line, yes, it's great to look further into what you can do to better your performance and physique. It's great to keep the focus on learning from others instead of writing everyone who's larger than you off as a 'fake natty'. Also, no, Mike O'Hearn isn't natural -- has never competed in natural (actual, real legitimate natural) competition and is well beyond his genetic potential for BMI based on what science can define at this point in time. Quitttttt ittttt.

You already lost credibility when you mentioned Arnold who didn't start taking drugs until 1967, which would have made him 20 years old. But, the most cringe thing you did was mention BMI. BMI ONLY applies to people who live a SEDENTARY lifestyle LOOL I believe you mean FFMI? And even then it's flawed to rely on that cause Mike is bigger than Jon Jones who has tested positive for PEDs and Jones has NEVER had a bodybuilder physique. PEDs don't make you bigger, training for hypertrophy makes you bigger. And for shits and giggles since I addressed everything else, YES!! It its very illogical to assume that someone can take PEDs for 36 years(cause 52-16=36) and still be in the shape Mike is in with no health issues. You tried to sound really intelligent, but only made a fool of yourself

@@Meta_Meech Losing credibility to an internet troll like you doesn't concern me in the least. Not that my point was lost even if you were to exclude Arnold as an example (which you failed to acknowledge conveniently, lol) -- but what evidence do you have that Arnold started taking drugs at that exact point in time? Are you going off of someone's word? You seem very confident so I'm expecting you have more than heresay. Yes, you're right in saying that I did mean FFMI, not BMI -- that's my mistake. Making a mistake on an acronym doesn't make my argument null. I would agree that relying solely on the FFMI argument wouldn't be sufficient (good thing I'm not, right?) but arguing that because someone smaller than Mike O'Hearn uses PEDs -- and that person doesn't look like a bodybuilder, somehow means that Mike O'Hearn is natural is uhhhh... yeah, what are you talking about, dude? I don't think you know at this point. Testosterone is a PED. There are multiple studies on NCBI indicating that Testosterone usage (even when sedentary) increased lean muscle mass. Again, what are you talking about? Lastly, there are plenty of examples of people abusing steroids (much more than Mike I'm sure) long-term who are in seemingly good health. Jay Cutler is a great example. Also, we don't know what Mike's bloodwork and overall organ health look like. He could drop dead two weeks from now for all we know. Quit talking out of your ass. If you want to have civil dialogue and bring up talking points that are actually worthwhile then I'm all for it but quit it with the delusional troll shit.

Saying all this but still the only argument you have for him taking steroids is that he's big and strong. Not much of a debate when that's all you can say. I don't know why people are so desperate that everyone else agrees with them this or that person is on steroids. I think it has to stem from insecurity because it's completely irrational; just hearing the perspective that Mike Ohearn is not on drugs should not cause you to care so much.

Why would an individual like that, who maximizes every aspect of this do that for everything except steroids. If that was the case, he'd be the biggest ever if he started taking them. Like yeah I stay extremely on point with training, nutrition and sleep myself but I am not looking to be a contest bodybuilder. Not taking anything away from him, I've loved watching his videos and implemented a lot of his creative exercises and approach to training into my own style. But I am not an idiot and neither are you Nsima so I'm pretty sure you know he's not natural :) it's people's personal choice if they want to take steroids and personally I would just think it would be interesting to hear Mike talk openly about this like he does with everything else

Bruh, Mike is making gains in his later years. Hasn't MPMD and Coach Greg covered this extensively already? Mike looks absolutely amazing but is 1000% definitely NOT natural. What most don't take into consideration either and will make you look a lot younger is Mike doesn't eat as much as you'd think and he incorporates fasting as well, he also takes care of his teeth, his skin (botox, fillers, etc.), he dresses like a college kid most of the time, dyes his hair, tans, gets massages.. on and on. Take all that away and he'll look like most guys his age. Mike is also a genetic freak. The bottom line is anyone can exercise and implement self care habits that'll keep you feeling and looking young. I'm in my late 40's but look late 20's.. on a 100% vegan diet for years, with lots of fasting, herbs, sea moss, high water fruits and that works for me, but y'all do you. 🤙

I know the point of your video was not to claim that Mike O'Hearn was natural, but at the same time it's a glaring statement that will obviously spark debate. My opinion is, people with elite genetics don't go on to look like Mike just by consistent training. Mike may not take what Ronnie Coleman took or what Nick Walker takes, but that doesn't mean he's natural. There are amateur bodybuilders that take small doses of drugs in order to teter on the line of possibility. They maintain a physique that is not impossible to achieve with elite genetics and the right training by taking the right amount of PEDs. This equates to healthier blood work and fewer health issues or side effects. Mike O'Hearn is likely the same. He doesn't take dangerous amounts of drugs because he doesn't need to. His genetics and training do more of the work than it does for someone like Nick Walker or the average Joe who is swole but trains like a chump.

I guess there lies the difference in my thought process from most. Mike claims natural. I see mikes physique and his past and conclude it’s in the realm of possibility. 2 schools of thought. The main school is that it’s possible he’s natural, but not probable, so he’s probably on. The other school (myself), it’s possible he’s natural, so I choose to believe his statement and take a look at his practices to apply it to myself. There are aspects of what he’s done that I find admirable and I’d also like to replicate. I focus on what I can divulge from his practices into my own. I choose to believe he’s natural. Why do I choose to believe that? Mainly because it serves my progress to believe that. I honestly think that I can achieve some of what he’s done through the years if I’m consistent, but If I go the route of thinking he’s on drugs, I’ll just chalk it up to drug use and that doesn’t help me because I don’t plan on hopping on 🤷🏾‍♂️.

@@NsimaInyang That's a fair point. I totally get that. But why Mike O'Hearn? Like, what's special about Mike other than his physique? I don't mean that as a slight to the man. I don't agree with ridiculing people or slandering them. Having an educated guess that he takes PEDs as millions of others do (in many cases legally) is not slander in my opinion. But I could be wrong there. Anyway, my point is: Mike is no different than any John Doe who's been training for a few decades. His training did not get him to where he is solely-we've already established that he has top 99.99% genetics (and most have established that he takes drugs in some form or another). That's a huge part of his success, something you can't or aren't willing to replicate. No one man can teach you all that you need to know. I can teach you most of what Mike knows because I learned it from other people who have the same experience as him, and some of them aren't as jacked or as obviously taking enhancements. They're just John Doe's from the local gym. And I don't need to teach you these things because you already know them. I'm not saying you can't learn anything else or Mike has nothing to offer; I'm saying, Mike is not special; his physique is. My point is: Mike is paraded around liberally because of his physique. It's the END PRODUCT that people really care about, but they mistaken that for the JOURNEY. His JOURNEY to 'bigness' is no different than the journey any John Doe has taken; the difference is the end result. So why not use them-people who have phenomenal physiques that are achievable naturally without question?

Hey Nsima, Im new to lifting and really want to believe mike is natural, he’s Jedi level with it and has taught me so much, one problem.. He has an entire video with him taking dhea with his supplement cocktail in the morning. Dhea though legal is banned by wada and usada so would therefore make him not natural. Also he gets overly defensive and offended by people saying he’s not natural, he sometime evens anxiously sweats from people calling him out. If he was natural he’d just jokingly laugh at people calling him out, and/or post his blood work like how Terron Beckham, Doug Miller, or Joshua Manoi shamelessly do. It’s odd because sometimes I really feel like he’s being honest when he says he’s natural. If he is, you should tell him as a friend, he could easily shut everybody up by just posting his labs and taking the accusations as a compliment. Shit if he natural looking like that. SHEEEESH… I’m honestly most impressed by you because I can tell you’re natural yet you’re just as big as mike!!! Some may wonder how I can tell you’re natural, well, you don’t have glaring symptoms like mike (keeps pump all day, bicep vein the size or my penis, red skin, dirty bulks and cuts). But it’s crazy cause mike if on roids has like barely any symptoms compared to most guys. That’s why I’m kinda confused. It’s more his frustration when accused that signals deception to me. You’re playful with it, like a natural. You also have legit no symptoms. You’re jacked and strong beyond belief but I can see in videos when your vascularity and pump goes down while doing the pod with mark, or when you’re cutting hard and getting a little flat. Your body behaves like a natural. It’s just essentially the most muscular natural body I’ve ever seen! Mikes body… not sure, he stays pumped and inflamed all day, that’s a glaring side effect of roids. But that’s really it honestly. He has no gyno, no overdeveloped traps, no acne. So who knows. I feel like you should get to the bottom of it as his friend! If he’s really natty, shit they need to study you and him in a lab. Clone yal dna and turn it to a supplement we could all take

It is not a single eyebrow-raising variable that is the problem with Mike O' Hearn (even though his raw body composition numbers are staggering), but instead that if one was to list all known variables to consider for potential steroid usage in a tick box style, Mike O' Hearn checks off an undeniably vast number, and even then that also make the individual variables even more suspicious. Throw in individual context like his past work and career as a Titan, Hollywood interactions and aspirations, and similar... and it becomes extremely difficult to weigh up the two sides and still give benefit of the doubt, unlike many other well-discussed figureheads.

One thing is for sure Mike has been around for an eternity without any health scares or big injuries so his training method, diet and recovery must have some truth and benefits to it. I think the fact that he's had Botox which doesn't help his case for people believing he's natural. I can safely say most folk don't like Mike O'Hearn though they should try extract useful info from his videos especially on the tendon and ligament strengthening approach. Good stuff Nsima!

Nsima, we love your videos and are a great resource of information regarding training methodology, different approaches to nutrition, and overall health, but this is so bad... Honestly, I think this is a stain to your credibility.

Leave the guy alone, natty or not, he's put more work than most of us will... people just want him to be 'fake' so they feel better with themselves...

I believe mike is on drugs but I don't believe this matters. How hard you're able to push yourself and how far you can go isn't affected by Mike O Hearn's natty status. However, anybody selling a training a training program while simultaneously lying about drugs is inherently dishonest. If he is able to achieve longevity and good growth as a result of his methods, I believe it's probably worthwhile to learn from.

Thank you for making this. It’s always refreshing hearing your take on this coming from someone with good genetics. I’m tired of all the channels getting views by assuming others take drugs only because they “look” like they do.

@@NoOne-ks9kd I’m not. I personally know a ton of people who run gear and don’t look like it. But there are freaks out there and it seems everyone on KZread who doesn’t have good genetics just calls steroids on anyone who looks better than them. Of course a lot do but there are those who don’t.

@@floatingodds freaks with absolutely elite genetics look like NFL athletes, and even a lot of them are on gear. Gear doesn't magically make you look like Mike O'Tren or any of the other fake natties/out and open steroid users though, you still have to be absolutely on point with training, nutrition, sleep, and the drugs you're actually using to have a hope of looking close to them

I agree with you. He looks amazing for his age....face, hair, and physique. He has full mobility, no apparent health problems, strength is ridiculous. Personally, I would think if he's been abusing for years, he wouldn't have all these qualities at his age. But for sale of argument.... even if he does use, steroids are no magic pill....not even testosterone. I've been on TRT for a year now, test is up to 1300 ng/l. I've made some gains and weight is coming off slowly, but it's definitely not a magic potion. I think what irritates me about most comments about him is people automatically say roids. With that mindset, that tells people that without roids, don't even try to get in shape. I still think you can achieve a great physique, but it definitely takes time, effort and consistency.

The thing about Mike O'Hearn is that he has never actually claimed to be a lifetime natty. I haven't seen a video of the man himself claiming that he has never touched juice. The only thing I've heard him say is that he has never tested positive on a drug test while bodybuilding.
