Hi Laura I think a fun name for your cushion would be ,the sweet tooth cushion , as that quilt block is called a saw tooth star. So it is like the sweet shop blanket pattern .the sweet tooth star cushion or just the sweet tooth cushion sounds good to me .

I know I tell you this so often, but you are such an exceptional knitter/designer, mother, videographer, podcaster, and those socks make you a good sister, too. You patterns are exquisite and seeing the children playing in their sibling sweaters made me want to make one for each of my three grandchildren. They are 3and1/2, 7 and 8. The youngest is a sweet girl which makes me think of her when I see Penny and the older children are boys much the size of Jeff. Watching your podcasts give me so much pleasure. Don’t sell yourself short….ever! I used to do that and wished I never got upset with my children, hubby, life and now I realize they were the best days of my life. Everyone gets upset with their kiddos and you are overwhelmed with life. It is that stage of life. Breathe and know you are fabulous. Don’t wait to realize how beautiful you are. You will look back and think, “I wasn’t so bad, actually a beauty! “

I thought of a name for the cushion. The Cromer cushion it will always remind you of fish and chips in the rain with the little ones and feeling so happy. We have all been there. I love the geometric shapes thanks Laura.

Your moby sweater reminds me so much of the sweater my mum made my dad and my dad wore most Sundays in winter for all my childhood. He wore it so much that after about 20 years she knitted him another. I enjoy your videos.

I’m so exciting for sibling my size. I have a goal to get a bunch of wips knocked out so I can be ready for release day. Sibling sweaters for the entire kiddo crew are in my queue currently.

Than,s so much for sharing your holiday with us. I loved it. I’m always amazed at how much progress you make in such a short time! I’ve been working on a cardigan for my husband for about 8 months now. I’m just about to start the button band/shawl collar and then it’ll be the sleeves. I’m really hoping I can have it done for Christmas! 🤞🏼 Looking forward to the next podcast. I always feel so uplifted and inspired when I watch you! I hope the start of the school year goes well for you and the kids. See you soon. 💜

Hi Laura, a big bonanza podcast! Lovely to see your knitting and also your holidaying in gorgeous Norfolk. I’m so glad you found Venetia’s Yarn Shop and as I’ve already said you’d have been most welcome at our Knit and Natter on Saturday but family come first, as always. The yarn you bought was hand dyed by Shannon,Moho is Blue Fern Yarns, and Shannon, her mum Amanda and even, on occasion,mShannon’s grandma are all members of the group! She is an ace dyer, I’d deffo be knitting a shawl with it! I’d love to go to Unravelling some day but right now I’m all yarned out! See you next time, have a good festival!

Your pillow/cushion is so fun…I’m also a quilter and those squares are called “half square triangles” (HSTs for short]. There are so many ways to arrange HSTs…very fun pillows….how about calling yours “Kwilty Kushion” 🤷‍♀️😂😂

What a lovely video Laura! I am wondering which weight of yarn your Sibling my size is (have been looking at my DK yarns dreaming of a colourful version). Also, sorry to enable😂- but birds of a feather is a shawl with suri and 4ply from A. Mowry. But! You also have the Two Bridges Shawl from ToriknitsNYC! (This one is less known and a very nice everyday pattern) Hope you’re having a great week!
