In this video I talk about what I'm doing for practice, but unfortunately I had to cut the video short because there was lightning in the area and a storm was rolling in. I mostly talk about the importance of having some sort of repetition work while also having some competitive practice games as well. I will share what I'm doing for competitive practice games in a future video because I didn't cover that in this one and its definitely an important part of my practice.
After pulling many all nighters and messing up my sleep schedule... I've FINALLY finished everything in my Course Management Program. Just like I promised there will be a free version of the program where you will get some important course management tips. So if you want access to that click the link in the description listed above!

    Wow!!! This video hit me different when you talked about realignment for the woods because you’re farther away from the ball!! I never would have thought about it like that. I’ve always been pretty decent with my irons, and struggled with my woods, and I honestly think this might be why. Time to head to the range and try this out!!

    Hey Luke, If you are making a technique change would you just do a load of reps daily or do you mix it up with playing and performance practice in between? Im great at getting reps in, could make 300-500 drill swings a day throughout the week. But come the weekend on the course my swing reverts back and I lose my confidence. Any advice would be appreciated, cheers

    Depends on the situation. I play a pull cut so I'm aimed up pretty much right at the target, maybe just a little bit left. If the wind is blowing left to right though I'm moving the alignment more to the left to take into account for the wind.

    Sweet vid Mr. Pro Golfer ;-) I've just noticed during your practice motion for the take-away, the shaft is nicely over the toe-line. • @LukeKwonGolf

    5 жыл бұрын

    If you're a 1.4 handicap at 13 years old and they're telling you to stop baseball gripping it then I'd be careful listening to those people lol. Wyndham Clark (WEB.com this year, just got his PGA Tour card) plays with a 10 finger grip. Tommy two gloves plays with a 10 finger grip. Jim Furyk plays with like a double overlap or something weird. If something works I will never argue against it.

    ksted888 well considering I’m trying to hit cuts probably not very many are dead straight. But probably about 15-20% are perfect shots that are doing exactly what I want it to do.

    I play golf at a division three school and last week I played a tournament in Minnesota where there were a lot of d1 guys, including Oklahoma. Why is there such an elitist mentality from players that play division one? I played pretty solid and ended up finishing top 15 but mostly got treated like dirt from the d1 guys. Left a sour taste in my mouth

  • @LukeKwonGolf

    @LukeKwonGolf

    If youre gonna talk shit at least make sure you do your research. There were zero d3 schools playing at the gopher invitational. But I gave you the benefit of the doubt and looked up the player leaderboard to see if there were any individuals from a d3 school for whatever reason. None. So I dont know what youre talking about. And if you talked to 95% of the d1 guys you’ll find that theyre really down to earth nice dudes. The majority of the guys are just regular guys that just happen to be good at golf. Of course there are sour apples just like in any community, but we dont like them either. There were several guys like that when i was in college and everyone knew who they were and everyone knew nobody liked them.

  • @MrHerbalherb

    @MrHerbalherb

    Absolutely was not talking shit. The gopher invite was at windsong and we played across the street. Teams that brought 7 guys to the tournament would have 5 play and the two individuals would play with us. I should have made that more clear, that’s on me
