Life happens. And life happened to me. Everything that could go wrong just kind of happened at the same time. That's just how it usually goes, isn't it?
I was falling apart and I still needed to work with my freelancing clients, and I felt like they should be the priority. I had very little mental energy left. I felt burned out. I lost my self esteem. I just needed to focus on me, as cheesy as that may sound.
So I stopped uploading videos. I thought it's just going to be for a month, but one month turned into two. Two into four. And one day I just realised that it's been half a year already.
I'm a baby channel, so honestly, I am surprised I still made money while I was completely OFF. I didn't respond to the comments. I didn't do ANYTHING. And some part of me wonders where I'd have been if I had stayed consistent.
I'd also like to say that the longer I DIDN'T create any videos, the harder it seemed to start again. Somehow, procrastination got the better of me. All I'm saying is that if you are on the same boat, don't feel bad. As soon as I started filming this again, a huge weight lifted my shoulders, and for the first time after a VERY LONG time, I felt the motivation again. I feel proud of myself again.
