@@avaconrad4654 don’t feel hopeless! I just started it 9 years ago and studied alone using KZread, then I spent 2 years doing qualifications in it at school and college and then 2 years at university as well then after that I realised that a lot of the Russian I learned is “textbook” Russian not how Russians really speak in day to day life because there is slang and other short forms of speaking. So I feel that I am learning constantly more and more over the years go by ❤️ everyone learns at different speeds it is normal

Love your videos! I had a course in Russian (Russian 101, LOL) during my freshman year in college 36 years ago. It was just enough to learn the most basic aspects of the language. For the most part, I can still read Russian but that is a far cry from actually understanding the language and being fluent. I still try to pick up a little extra knowledge however I can. Thank you for your lessons!

I started learning Russian about four weeks ago. Your channel is the first one I found on KZread, and it's really great. I also follow your advice; I had made the same mistake with my English as you, I didn't speak, just words and grammar, so I thought it would be a grate idea to practice with someone right form the start, and guess what, it works! It's also fun to learn a third language with English and German. Это заебись!

I know some Russian over the years but I need to learn more,I go by listening and repeating basically but I can't read Russian so I'm learning it backwards I admit but it's so hard to remember the words. Im lucky if I can learn 2 to 3 words a day but when I listen I'm doing multitasking so that doesn't help because I work and listen and repeat the words in my head and out loud but also my other issue I know more Russian than i know as well because I can't remember what I said many times and I'm speaking Russian I forget what I said (I forgot the meaning of the words). I'm a work in progress but i love Russia the Russian people etc so I need to learn, I will subscribe hopefully I will learn more but I'm a slow learner

Be aware ladies, Russian words have female and male versions. So just make sure you know which you're using. Here the examples are fantastic, but they are male such as "I'm not sure - Я не уверен", you would add an a if your a female. Though I doubt anyone would really judge considering they would mostly likely know your still learning. Keep up the good work 👍
