I agree with a ton of others, like having Ben in the shop he is a great addition to the team. He's a natural infront of the camera.

I have to admit, when Paul and Matt hopped into the Nugget for that test drive together, I had a tear in my eye. My hats off to you guys, and everyone that had a hand in putting this machine together. Cannot wait to see Eds face when he sees it.

Wow! I was sick when the rear end seized up. I have no idea how you kept a straight face as well as you did. There is no way that Ed can totally understand how much went into this rebuild/restoration. Its too bad you can't put a seg-way movie clip before you release it to Ed. Congratulations guys! A total 10 out of 10 points-job!

The Nugget has truly been a labor of love. My hats off to the whole team that made it possible. I'd like to see a good photo of the underside of the hood when all involved have left their mark.

@@Rythecarguy Yes, I had that done after my Land Cruiser was painted and pin stripped so the pin striping had a clear coat over it for protection.

Love the way you shared the sand blasting problem with us and it was fixed so calmly: great project guys: Ed is going to be blown away!

Ben is great a professional mechanic. Not messy & knows what he’s doing. Great addition. Seems like a natural KZreadr.

That would make the perfect RV life vehicle, it would fit in most fifth-wheel toy haulers. You could drive it right in and not have to tow anything.

The grin on Matt's face as he took it for that short spin said volumes worth of words. One step closer to Ed getting it. All that was / is involved with this are AWESOME!!!

They way the content has been produced, makes me feel like I was a part of this build. From when you pulled it out of the woods, to its completion! I've thoroughly enjoyed it all!

Ya'll need to give Ed a video compilation with all the hard work that has been poured into this project since he doesn't watch KZread so he can totally and fully appreciate what you have done here. Kudos, can't wait for the reveal.

I can see the checkered flag approaching for Nugget reveal day! Great job to all involved. You all have dedicated so much time to make this beyond anything Ed could ever imagine.

Ed needs a DVD of all the Golden Nugget build video with extras including bloopers.

Kind of think a lot of us out here are very emotional about the Golden Nugget... Watched from the very beginning... The trek into the forest, the dragging it out (thanks Matt and crew). The busting down, all the fabricating all the sand blasting, all the body work, then the priming, priming and more priming, all the layers of panting (thanks Robby and crew). Then more fabricating more parts fitting welding (thanks Paul and crew), more dent removing, more painting, hundreds and hundreds and more hundreds of man hours. THEN the big blitz at the end during the test firing, I panicked when it locked up, but Paul you saved me a heartache. Just one more thing, wouldn't have missed any of it... we are all hooked on the three channels. , and now I just need to know if some of us are invited to the unveiling...? No we haven't forgot the trailer and Ed's bike for even more hours...

The Golden Nugget project has done so much more than people realize. I have been watching Matt's channel since the second month after creation. In all that time, I had caught one or two videos from The Fab Rats, but not much else. I didn't even subscribe back then. Then came the Golden Nugget retrieval. I found myself subscribing to Fab Rats and spending hours watching past videos and learning a lot of things along the way. Next, I found myself subscribing and soaking up everything on Robbie's channel and the same for Tow Mater. I added all to my favorites. All of you are absolutely great people. Watching your work, learning a bit along the way and enjoying the scenery from the area. If you ever find yourselves on a trip to Alaska, send a message. My door is open.

Been watching this saga since the Nugget's initial recovery from the forest and I'm blown away by the amount of effort , energy and passion by so many people that went into this build. I can hardly contain my excitement for it to come full circle with the reveal to Ed. Hats off to you all!!!!!!!

Man, what a ride this has been. From floating Ed's library out into the river and sinking the nugget to this... It's going to be an emotional day when Ed gets the nugget for him and a lot of folks. This is a good thing. Thank you Fabrats and all involved.

I’m not crying, you are. We love the golden nugget build, how could you not. Ed Is THE BEST. I know I am not alone in this sentiment. Ed is going to be so full of joy, we are all so blessed to be able to ride along on this journey of love and kindness just for the sake of it… what a great ride.

Watched this project since it was pulled from the forest can't wait for the reveal great job Paul and Ben and FabRats team!!!

I can understand Paul's reaction when Matt left with the Nugget. It's like when your youngest child moves out of the house. You're kind of sad to see 'em go, but happy for them at the same time.

When Paul hit the kid with "Earn your keep, your change jiggle jiggles it dont fold" got me cracking up laughing.

That last test drive should have Robby in it too, would have been a perfect picture moment for the leaders of the project. Do a photo shoot too with everyone who took part of the project. History has been made :) I enjoyed every journey you guys did! The ride with Matt and Paul looked like a movie scene :)

Matt announced that they’ll be adding a Patreon ‘channel’ and showed a few very short clips of them reacting to their own old videos. In one of those clips you could see Ed watching things together with Matt. If that format sticks, they’ll likely sooner or later have Ed watch some Golden Nugget videos as well.

It is so cool seeing "competing" channels colab on projects. Between all of you huys and gals, there is so much very apparent love and respect between you all.

You guys are amazing, you all did a fantastic job on the Golden Nugget! All the people who worked on it, Robby and his crew who did an amazing pristine "showroom" restauration job, the guy who did the wiring, all the fans sending parts to help complete the project. Everybody involved! All the work put in Ed's Golden Nugget is so heartwarming! Can't wait to see the reveal !!

My heart sank at the end of the last nugget video but when i saw Matts video about the diffs being delivered i knew you had it handled. I kept saying it but you guys are awesome for all the work you have done to make an old man happy. Gonna miss Randals southern draw on these vids, wish him all the best for me.

It’s amazing how far this thing has come. I only found Matt’s, Paul’s and Robbie’s channels after Jalopnik did a story about a Suzuki that had been pulled out of the Sierras after 40+ years. So glad I did. 😁

Its been a wild ride over the months and tons of hours put in. I was getting a little jittery when it locked up but when it came to what it was I wasn't to surprised but I would not have caught the oiling issue either. As a fan of all three of the channels that did so much I can only wish I could be there when Someone gets their eyes on it after all the hiding and white lies trying to keep the secret. He will love it, Ed that is. The nugget looks great and you all did a terrific job. Did you sign that hood Paul?
