I'm sure I heard Paul mentioning ground being prepared for big upgrades coming to the shop, that are in the FabRats pipeline. Like eg a restroom and a wash sink. It's been getting busy with more folk working in there lately. Maybe a business office, a store for merch, even a video production facility, like Matt's built for MORR?

All of that amount of wall would've stopped me from even starting that job. I'd have just tackled one wall at a time, giving me the feeling of making at least some progress as I go. Solving any issues that might pop up early on, leaving an easier ride out to the end when resolve and enthusiasm could be wearing thin. 10/9 for effort though.

Air bags work as rising rate springs because when they're half way compressed, the volume of air is halved which doubles its pressure, which in turn doubles the spring rate. The way to control this is to connect them to a reservoir air tank, thereby increasing their effective volume. The ratio between the volume of the bag, and the volume of the reservoir tank, sets the progression of the spring rate.

There is nothing that infuriates me more than people trashing our playgrounds. I've been off-roading since I was 12, and I am now 63. We always have a couple of big heavy duty trash bags in the rig and rarely come back without one full. I have never understood the mentality of people who do this stuff. Do they throw trash around their living room at home? Do they not intend to return to the place they are dumping their garbage, or do they want to see the mess they left when they return the next time. Makes no sense, and Paul is right on the money...gives the powers that be more ammo to shut us out. Insane. Rant over...Sorry.

@@OwensGarage Things are better than they used to be . I grew up on a busy road , and the ditches used to be " crowded " with bottles , cans , and other garbage . As bad as it is , I don`t think that it is as bad as it used to be . We all just need to keep preaching the message . Sometimes , we do need more garbage cans , but , then again that is an extra expense . I do notice that litter is a bigger problem in states where they are short of money to clean up .

Anybody else feel bad for Randall? Great job on the shop buddy. Pretty sweet getting a chance to wheel with Dave, in Moab no less. Great wheeling footage. The Gracie cam was lol hilarious and those drone shots were awesome. Love the channel.

Can you imagine the first European explorer following the sun west and coming across this? "... oh crap, we found Hell! Um, let's just back up slowly and when we are down the hill, turn east and run and never look back ... "

Paul that FJ you built is a bad one. I love the way you make it look so simple (the climbs). I personally wouldn’t have the stomach for it. Love Paul’s fabing. I loved doing fab work (not to Paul’s limits) now that I’m in a wheelchair my fabing is quite limited. Love you both and your channel. Hope nothing but the very best for you both.

Dave Chappelle is a great fabricator. He built a fantastic air suspension on my sons 53 3100, when Dave had his shop in El Cajon, Ca. So nice he won't put a bed in the truck so he can show it off.
