This whole series has been so awesome to watch unfold. Everyone did such a fantastic job on the Nugget!! Watching the reveal was bittersweet. So great to see Ed get his Nugget back, but sad to see the series end. A huge thank you to everyone involved, definitely THE best series I have seen to date on KZread!

These two videos go great together, Matt’s and this one are something to cherish as on as I live. I am Ed’s age so I can see the love in everyone’s faces who put time in on the project. Loves it.

All the work we put into that door turned out amazing but even better when Ed received it.

I have watched from planning in to recovery and the finish with everyone that has a channel. I got to say one thing. It shows how many people not only love and care about Ed but all of you guys. And the strength from people that have more heart and love which is something this whole country needs. Once again Paul and crew, great job on this build and I mean awesome work. Glad to see you involved with your family and the care they have for Ed also. Thanks guys.

You are all such kind people. The world is a little bit brighter. Thank you for sharing your kindness with Ed.

I was wondering as to why You People were the last ones to show up for the revile of the Golden Nugget to Ed. Now I know. I can't believe Michelle found the books to replace the books lost during the recovery of the Golden Nugget. That also was just priceless on what You did with Ed's old wooden door. Brought a tear in My eye as well. This entire series has to be the best ever on KZread. This includes Robby Layton, Ben, Chad, Erick, Lizzie, Anybody else involved, & of course Matt. Made 1 man a very, very HAPPY Man.

I’m not trying to claim credit but my wife and I rebuilt that door for Ed and let me tell you how amazing it was to watch Ed receive it. Every hour of work into it was all worth it for that one moment.

Now Ed has the only show quality Suzuki, that doesn’t need 2stroke oil anymore, and the plywood door is a testament to how it brought everybody together that was involved. I have to agree this was the best group of KZread channels getting together for the grand finale reveal ever. I’m just wondering what is next, this is going to be hard to Top.

Man, you guys did a beautiful job on the door! It’s great seeing so much hard work come to fruition. Ed seems like a awesome old timer. This whole project was the very definition of “a labor of love”.

I started out at Bikes and Beards, found Matt's off road recovery from there, then Fab Rats at Matt's, then found Robby Layton at Fab Rats so it was very cool following along on the Golden Nugget, also I found Chad at Fab Rats too, plus Trail Mator and many others. Thanks everyone.🥰

I'm Ed Pattison; I'm 87 years old, and I have sure enjoyed watching you all rebuild your Ed's ride! I am mostly shut in, living alone, but thank God I have a computer and can watch you all, so much so, that you seem like family to me. You give me lots of memories of my younger days and my family! My hat’s off to everyone who turned a wrench on the nugget for Ed. It’s a heartfelt gesture that I’m sure is one of the highlights of Ed’s life. If he didn’t know before- he sure knows now just how much he is loved and respected by the whole gang. This was a by far the best KZread series I’ve ever watched- and it’s not even close. The goog thing is most everyone who watches these videos are not and therefore appreciate the videos for what they are and all the work that goes into making them and sharing them with us. It's sad that there are a very tiny few that are just horrible people that do to your own unhappy Lives try to project that on to others. It doesn't work because normal well adjusted people just don't even think or understand this behavior and never would. It nit normal nor is it ok. I hope you can get help to correct what ever in your life has made you want to be such unhinge unhappy mean hateful person so you will no longer want to behave so badly. I really do. So glad I have zero idea what it must be like for you for sure never want to find out.

This has been like reading a good novel with a satisfying ending, but at the same time you're kind of sad that it's over. Well done, everyone.

I almost cried when Ed saw the picture of his old mining partner in the old plywood door, and he choked up a little. It was wonderful to see the entire team responsible for this rebuild for Ed, celebrating with him as he got it back. Great work Paul, you really did a great build on the mechanicals. Chad did amazing with the electricals. All of you there at Fab Rats did a great job in every aspect. Gotta add meeting you all to my bucket list now. 🙂

I’m glad to have witnessed this project. I’ve discovered several new channels I never would have found without the Golden Nugget build. Ed’s continued stories should be deemed payment enough (since he’s going to insist I’m sure).

The love Ed has for his "Golden Nugget" pales in comparison to the warmth and kindness you displayed to Ed. Honestly Michelle's refilling the glove box and finding replacement books was so thoughtful, and clearly appreciated by Ed. And the picture frame an absolute treasure a wonderful idea and use of the old door. I think that Ed really appreciated that as much as anything.

Fab Rat's rocks. Paul did so much top notch work on this little thing that took so many hours away from his regular work but yet he did it all with a smile on his face even though he lost some blood a few times. Amazing man with a big heart. Michelle's is so sweet thinking up using the relics from the old Nugget. I appreciate you sharing the build with us. I gotta get some of your shirts as a conversation starter so I can talk about your amazing ability and point people to your channel, they have no idea what they are missing out on.

This reveal made me cry! I watched the entire build every one that was involved GREAT job, Keep These Video's Coming..... I'm sure ED will be using it everyday..

I really never realize how important it was to all you folks I do now because of all the love and effort you’ve poured out to make this little project come to fruition my eyes are all watered up

For Ed he would need to put it on VHS. DVD is too recent for his tech skills.

In our current upside down world where wrong is promoted as right, it warms my heart to see there are still people who do good things for nothing more than doing the good deed instead of virtue signaling for likes and clicks. This collaboration to help Ed out was the best 6months EVER in the off road community. Thank You guys and gals much love from Montana.

A really emotional hand-over by you all Paul, which proves not only that Ed is loved by a wide variety of people, but that a wide variety of people feel deep emotion for each other. Thank you for allowing me to follow such an amazing adventure.

Only thing better than an extra Fab Rats episode is the look on Ed's face when he sees that awesome door art! What a great thing you guys have done!
