@Play Football MORE OF VIDEOS LIKE THIS PLEASE! Like hard knock's but for everything!
This actually happened at my school. I never was too conditioned because I had gotten covid 2 weeks before we started summer conditioning and asthma didn’t help with it. The whole time, the coaches were just yelling at me telling me I should just quit because I’m a sophomore and can’t keep up with the Freshman. I even gave it my all the whole. When it came during season, I tried my best on scout and for some reason, only 2-3 coaches took notice of it and wanted to start me but the other coaches didn’t want me to start over some of there favorite players. On scout, I probably averaged around 15 tackles and 4 sacks every time we went on Scout D and whenever I went into a game, I had that same mindset and would sometimes even get strip fumbles which majority of the other linemen couldn’t do. I didn’t mind it too much. But the coaches continue to mock me to this day about that summer conditioning.

@javadthemaestro
4 жыл бұрын
@@ledernierutopiste because in soccer if you have incredible technical ability and play with a brain you can be the best player in the world. Xavi Iniesta Zidane none were particularly fast yet we're some of the best players in the history of the sport due to their intelligence, movement off the ball, and technical skill. Speed is useful especially for attackers and defenders but for midfielders it is not as necessary. Midfielders prioritize stamina since they run for long duration and distance during a match, which is not the ATP energy system as mentioned in this video. Don't get me wrong tho this training still could be incredibly useful, for example improving a players burst so they can get to balls faster than their opponents and drive forward more explosively (with the ball)

Idk. My guess is this training ain't cheap and everyone knows rookie money isn't what it used to be. Seems like too big investment for anyone outside the top 10. The real money comes in the 2nd NFL contract and that contract is purely determined by play on the field.

generally speaking, your agent would pay for most of the cost, if not all. i trained at XPE getting ready for my pro-day back when it was in Atlanta in 2006-2007. i think remember it being like $2K a month at the time for ONLY the training. you could pay more if you needed extra stuff like PT, weight gain/reduction and they provided meals and counseling on that... plus you had to pay for housing unless you lived nearby of course. but that was only a few years after they were founded I think..they weren't as established as they are now.. I wouldn't be surprised if it's like $1500 a week for the entire package.
How to get stronger, faster, etc. “Push/try harder”

did he say they just train in phosphato system? i know it's the specificity, but if you improve your aerobic capacity you are going to increase your cardiovascular conditioning which leads to have a better recovery between sprints and between training bdw. sometimes far from the competition like a bases period, they should training for sure, but be careful with the fibers plasticity :)

I have a big problem with the combine. The combine is so numbers, it does not take into account field smarts and other things. It takes one bad drill to take someone down 10's of draft picks. DK Metcalf had a bad three cone drill and was a mid second round pick. Look at him now.

It's great to see that these guys train hard but it is a facade unfortunately that their 40 times do not always translate to the game. Look at john ross ran a 4.23 sucks as a wide out. The 40 yard dash does not matter unless there are full pads on them for the combine.
