Mike Tyson has one big advantage no one is talking about. Tyson started with Cus D' Amato. Cus was a tremendous student of the sport of boxing. He turned Tyson into one also. He knows exactly what he needs to do to knock out Paul. I don't believe Tyson would get in the ring if he didn't spot something, & wasn't physically capable of doing it.

From a reputation perspective, indeed, nobody will like Jake Paul right now regardless of outcome, but Jake was at least set to be forgotten in time, however being involved with Mike Tyson in a fight means he becomes part of Mike Tyson's story, which means he will at least have a footnote in the history books.

It all boils down to boxing skills. Mike Tyson has fought some of the most skilled fighter in which he knocked out almost all of them except for a few exceptional fighters. Two he still has the power to knock opponents out even if he can’t knock out Jake Paul he will surely outbox him. Jake Paul is a one sided fighter and the only ones the fall to his trap is non boxers. He does same thing over and over. Even a non boxer like me can clearly see the kind of trap he sets up to knock opponents but Tyson is not gonna have non of that he is too experienced. Boxing skills always prevail it’s the reason why Mayweather is undefeated although I dislike him I admire his boxing skills.

I get that Mike wants the money. But this is just sad. Mike is a living legend, he doesn't need to prove anything. Jake Paul is a clown who will never be in the same league. Best case scenario, it tarnishes Mike's legacy. And worst case scenario, Mike will get injured. Jake fights no one of significant rank irrelevance in boxing.
