Fuck yea it is. I'm trying to make a turn in my life of learning to not engage in conflict with anybody. Relearn to practice the basics: be polite, show respect, and if I can't say something nice, keep my mouth shut. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. That was a behavior that was crippling my life. I found a way out dependent on me maintaining a recovery effort. This conflict behavior is no different. Taxing and with consequences I do not want to deal with. Therefore I need to change my behavior patterns.

you shouldve heard him speak when he was young, and living with cus. he was an honest, humble, intelligent...he was a gentleman. im a year younger than mike, and i was never the type to be a "fan" of another man...not even my father. i never came across anyone i admired. But after the first interview i saw of Mike, all i remember is instantly becoming a fan. i think the reason his personality struck a chord is...he was the devourer of worlds, the babayaga, the boogeyman. Grown men, professional boxers were scared of him. not the healthy kind of scared...it was a paralyzing fear. i followed boxing closely back then and i never saw anything like it. There was Mike Tyson and then everybody else. Fighters skill was assessed by how long they lasted in the ring with mike. many didnt make it past the first round. very very few ate one of his left hooks and continued fighting. if he caught you with that punch the fight was usually over. Mike had every right to be arrogant but he wasnt.
He had a hard early life, got railroaded at times, but learned from his errors and is finally a blistful man. Mad respect big Mike!

Mike never once won after first overcoming adversity during a fight. That would make me doubt his ability to beat the likes of Ali, Foreman, Frazier and Marciano, all of whom could do exactly that. Prime Foreman is the worst match-up for Mike, no matter how humble George comes across when asked about such a fight. If a prime version of Mike fought Lennox Lewis and Vitalli Klitschko, they would also be very close fights IMO. To conclude, it is actually very close indeed and I'm a huge fan of Mike Tyson.

Much respect for Mike. Hes a success story coming through a hell very few can even relate to. To come out the other side the man he is now is an inspiration and a testament to the will of the great "Iron Mike" I dont think there will ever be another.
I've got nothing but the utmost love and respect for this man.
If it's one thing that's always bothered me, it's that people seriously FEAR Mike Tyson, there's nothing to be afraid of, he's just a human, he's been portrayed for years as this "VICIOUS BLOODTHIRSTY PSYCHO RABID PITBULL THAT'LL SNAP AT THE DROP OF A HAT" but some people can't see him as a person that's been through so much and lost so much, all because he's a fighter and he's had to fight his entire life while has been taking shots to the heart relentlessly throughout it. Yet people want to get concerned or ridicule him for getting angry or lashing out when he's been through enough in his life, as if HE did something wrong just for lashing out despite life lashing out at him time and time again, when all he's ever wanted and needed was the love and respect he deserved in his troubled life. People who've never had to fight and struggle for their worth and their very lives can never understand what a life like that is truly like, because they have different values due to not experiencing life the same way. No one has the right to shame or ridicule Mike for what he's been through by treating him as this inhuman crazed monster just for trying to fight for his life and happiness.
Mike is not stupid he is very intelligent and he's just learning about himself these days and he is amazed
I give him credit, he has straight up said he WAS a monster, he wanted to HURT people, put them in the hospital or leave them brain damaged, sometimes people who never did a thing to him. A lot of rage and anger in his youth. He has battled that darkness, some missteps along the way, but found his way through ultimately overcame and allowed himself to appreciate beauty in the world beyond the material and superficial.

Over the years, since he left the ring and chose to cage the beast, Mike Tyson has evolved into a humble and wise man that I have grown to love and admire. It really is like someone else is now wearing the body and face of Tyson. However, the Beast is still in there. From time to time you can see it behind his eyes. Ive seen several videos in which Tyson became very emotional about the man he once was. To a point that it seems as if he hates his former self. Tyson is as iconic as Ali and has earned my respect and admiration. Too many men never outgrow their younger selves. One of my most fondest memories as a child is getting to see Mike Tyson entire career, alot people have done alot worse but not many at all have achieved what that man has. THE CHAMP
Mike became the heavyweight weight champ of ethics and morals in his older years…. Love mike Tyson
Mike loves the innocent and helpless and will fight any danger to save them.
Mike Tyson always been my hero. I started boxing amateur and pro and won area titles all due to wanting to be half the fighter he was. Iron Mike is the best heavyweight of all time!!
When you watch a compilation of wins, after he beats the snot out of his opponent and ref calls to stop the fight or the count or the TKO. Tyson is the first to make sure the dudes ok. Most fighters are like " fuck him" But Tyson actually cared the other guy was still breathing or not a drooling vegetable. One of the baddest to ever step in the ring. But with true empathy once the fight is over. But I never seem to hear people talk about that side of the man. For me, he's the best because of that. The ability to switch off when Force is no longer needed. True Respect and holy balls the man at 50+ years is still the true iron man. ( Tony Stark, pussy )
God bless Mike Yyson Ck out Mike Tyson Mysteries to fathom how humble hilarious n intelligent this man is
Watching Mike grow up and embrace humility is a blessing we all can learn from!
I'm a grown man of 60 years and I watched Mike throughout his career and I get teared up reflecting on his life and what aterrific human being he is today. A true role model for all of us to witness the ability to overcome the trials of life. When you think you've been dealt a bad hand in life look at Mike and you will be inspired to overcome and keep pushing forward. Mike has left a big footprint on this earth and greatly impacted humanity more than I think he will ever know. I wish peace and prosperity for him ! I'm also curious of the great things he has yet to achieve.

I'm 60 as well, and feel blessed to have grown up watching this mans incredible career. My parents were big boxing fans and I hold many fond memories of our family time watching Iron Mike.

Jesus, moses, Solomon, noah and mohammed are role models. He is interesting made mistakes and now he gives speaches. Masha Allah for him doing it but he will never claim to be a role model so don't idolise him. Give him that respect
I think Mike's soul is that of a honest and gentle man who doesn't want fight or be violent, but life circumstance made him the best at those things. Once he got a taste for it, it became addictive - the fame, fortune and power. When he's speaking to people in interviews and they stroke his ego, I sense Mike is uncomfortable with it. He seems to turn from being chill to remembering the inner beast within him and the sense of power it brings as those flames are stoked, and he's very aware of it. Mike is ying and yang.

@@michaelmurphy1127 That doesn't dispute anything I have said. Also, the guy was pestering Tyson for a while a wouldn't leave him alone even after being asked to stop. Try harder.

@@Son-Of-Gillean So as long as you have the soul of a gentle person it is okay to hit people. Try harder.

Mike is the Goat 💯
I am happy for him! Legend!
He is my all time Idol and favourite. I still want to see him fight. The World missed is Supreme Powerhouse
Age + mistakes = wisdom. Hindsight is one of the most valuable things in life. I think Mike understands that more than most
Man a living legend 🙌 down
No one will replicate what he achieved so young ever again in boxing.
I have a ton of respect for Mike and only wish I knew him personally. What a great turnaround he's made in his life, he's truly danced with the Ying and Yang. I admire him and will be sad the day he leaves this earth. Many have trash-talked him but I see a smart man with wisdom I can respect.
Mike is the best boxer hands down his record speaks for its self he’s calmed down and became a amazing human being on top of that

We love you Mike Tyson he's a real amazing person
Mike Tyson is my hero because I lived a similar kind of life and now I have becomed a humble man just like him and he is so wise now.
I love this guy. His journey is truly inspirational. Guys like Tate could learn a thing or two about vulnerability, and humility from Mike and how there is no real greatness without these components…
Many times U will see M. Tyson Hit a Fighter Down on the Mat and Go right over to help the Guy Up.

This is the BEST video I've seen on Mike. Excellent. TY
As a lifelong Tyson stan, I love this man and the message he spreads. It's great to see all these lovely comments, appreciating the journey of self reflection this fine man has taken.
He never gave away a Rolls Royce. He did tell the cop to take it, but he called the station afterwards to claim the car. Tyson himself says this.

Mike Tyson is the most intelligent boxing analyst I have ever heard.
Lot's of love for Mike! Not only possibly the greatest champion but an unselfish American we should be proud of! 😊
I thought you were going to explain how he saved a woman from a gunman…
Dude in his prime w that hunger was unstoppable. Got too cocky, had his humbling loss to BD then the fight w the law. Man was out of the ring for 3 years that’s is not easy? Came back at maybe 60 percent of what he was! Loved prime Tyson
This man has lived quite a life , yet under it all he has a big ❤
This is the true definition of a man’s man. He’s not afraid of anything but is willing to honestly admit that he made mistakes and has changed for the better, all the while commanding everyone’s respect. Regardless, when you reach for something like heavy weight champ of the world as a goal, you have to let the monster out, you will become the monster, but at what price? This man has survived being in combat with the best, I’m listening intently to what he has to say, there is great value in experience. Bless you Mike, you are a true champion. And thanks for all those fantastic bouts in the ring with the whole world watching. You are the picture of courage while under attack.
I am amazed at Mike and his genuine humbled persona. He is someone to look up to. Not so much at who he is but what he has gone through and then become. I wish that Cus could come back for a 24 visit and see the man that Mike has become he would be very proud
A GOOD MAN SPENDS QUALITY TIME WITH FAMILY ONLY AND YOU ARE A ROLL MODEL FOR FAMILY LIFE
