I need to stop letting my impulse lead me. My secret to confidence is my impulse in everything, but sometimes it is also my downfall. I often hear "Wow! I've never met anyone like you before" or "Your a one-in-lifetime-person". But for the sake of myself I know I need to tame it.

Ed.. Thanks for choosing to ask the right questions here today... My pattern of "safe mode" envelops my fears and ignites a list of EXCUSES... today I'm taking action towards walking the uncomfortable (risky) roads to distinguish, reveal and eradicate my negative patterns. Being a supporting Dad, a supporting partner, a supportive son, a supportive Brother.. definatley leads me towards my Bliss. I need to focus on my pattern of support for others! Thank You Ed #maxout

Deep talk Ed thank you! Last year I changed the pattern on how I see the world after I receive a call that a family member or best friend got killed in Mexico. I moved with my family to Dallas 3 years ago for a better life. Since ive been here ive received 3 calls, 2 blood cousins and a best friend got killed in Mexico. Last year after one of them calls I drank my pain away, I couldnt go back to Mexico and visit (money) bad choice!. The cause of that, I got a DWI, it couldve been worse. Now I use all these pain, to listen to people like you Ed and start my own landscaping service in dallas now I'm hungry to help all my family and friends in CD. Juarez Mexico.

In my experience i've noticed that whenever we are in a heightened state of emotions, thats when our patterns take over. If we're able to stay calm and keep our presence of mind, its very easy to notice the patterns kicking in, and breaking them as soon as they do. here's a small example. My father has this amazing ability to change his emotional state in a split second. while i was growing up, i saw my mom and dad have their share of fights. even if me or my sister needed him while he was in the middle of an escalated argument with my mom, he would be absolutely calm, composed, and full of selfless love for us kids within a split second. On the other hand my mother would stay mad at everyone for weeks! even with us kids for no fault of ours. Dad knew how to not let his emotions run him. i was lucky to see that contrast with my own eyes, and have been able to absorb that. truly grateful to him for teaching me by example, how we can catch our patterns kicking in, if we stay calm and composed.

Loved your message today. The strange thing is that about 8 or 9 months ago I realized that conversations with my husband usually ended in arguments. I decided to just shut my mouth, listen to what he said and find a way to meet him in the middle. So much nicer than being right. I'm not saying I was wrong ( which after nearly 38 years he will tell his friends he has realized I won't argue unless I am 99% right, which bugs the crap out of him). It's just that it really is more enjoyable to be happy than correct. I find myself looking back at my mother and mother-in-law and how they got their blissfulness, and decided to do just the opposite, and it seems to be paying off. I still have a long way to go to build my self confidence, but listening to you today gave me many nuggets to work with to put a halt to my bad patterns. One of my pet peeves is people who go through life like a robot. They get up everyday and do the same things, in the same way, never seeming like they are happy. Have you ever had an "Aha" moment when your watching a video? You know, where the presenter is looking straight at you and you swear they can see you and are talking directly to you? I had several of those moments watching this video. I realized, I AM THAT ROBOT!! I am the person I hate. I have the life I swore I would never have. PATTERNS!!! I have so many patterns that don't serve me!! This explains so much!! First I'm going to re-watch this video and outline the whole thing and answer all the questions. Then I'm going to start journaling my patterns. Actually writing them down and dissecting the words, behaviors, my thoughts, my emotions. Then I want to start building new patterns. Ones that will take me to the life I really want. Ed Mylett, I want you as my Sensei and me your grasshopper. Teach me Sensei....

The awareness of patterns! What was I letting run unconsciously? It was not serving me. BUT until I got honest about the need to look my trouble areas - specifically with communication with my spouse - I wasn't able to get past the 'this is just who I am' BS. There's no Bliss in BS, Mr. Mylett. Lol! I'm working on it by simply first being aware. This is the start to create new patters - new neuropathways, new dendrite connections, which equal new feelings - more Bliss! And that's the entire goal! A blissful life! Conscious choice for the win! 💜💜💜

It's funny how certain things come along at certain points in our lives. I've been very aware of my patterns for as long as I can remember, yet still struggle with them. As my second presentation ever races towards me, my suffocating fear of public speaking has consumed me again. Just two days ago I was able to link a childhood occurance to why I'm so scared, so now I can start fixing it. But seeing this video was much needed to push me towards how do I WANT to feel about growing as a person. To find happiness in struggle and conquering new things. Instead of letting fear steal that joy. I love you Ed, you've helped me SO much!!

@@EdMylettShow well this would be tied to public speaking, or maybe just how to gain confidence in portraying your own skills without seeming arrogant or self absorbed. I was raised to never brag in any way, and that people in nice houses were above everyone else. I often heard, "must be nice" from most of family driving past those houses. I realize now I can have that cabin in the woods I've always dreamed of, my work ethic is very strong. But I'm still suffocated trying to promote myself. I'm a contractor and handyman by the way just passing my first year and things are exploding for me! Much to do with your guidance. Thanks for the response! My heart filled up when I saw it! Ed, You are my awesome brother in this wonderful universe. Thank you Ed for all your informative, inspirational, motivational and life changing videos. Ed, I am supposed to speak with you. I know this without a doubt. I am a volunteer health coach. All people can heal and prevent all illnesses and diseases. We are never supposed to be sick. Our Good loving God never gives us sickness. We have the wonderful gift from our very loving creator for our body to continuously heal and self regenerate. It is us that creates our own illnesses and prevent our body from healing by what we do to our body, what we eat, what we drink...…….. I have been living in Naples Florida this winter. There are so many people here with lots of money, but they are so very poor because they are sick in so many ways because of what they do to their body, what they eat, what they drink...….. Ed, I was so very sick and dying years ago. I discovered, unfortunately only after many years of suffering so very much and being so close to death, that we can heal our body and prevent illnesses and diseases by fasting, eating cooked vegan and Raw vegan food, exercising, getting good quality sleep....... This has saved me from dying and has taught me that we can all heal from any illness and disease and prevent all sickness as well. Ed, I have not seen a doctor in about 10 years. I do not need to see one. I do not get sick. Please, Ed, let me know how I can speak with you. My only intention is to help you for free and I know in my heart that you will help MANY people in the world with what I teach you. There is a knowing in my heart that I am meant to speak with you about this and many people in the world will benefit from you being an inspiration to many others with the many awesome things I will teach you. Ed please watch the following video on You Tube. kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6ealqd8cqvPqbQ.html The Power of Intermittent Fasting. @@EdMylettShow I learned that everything we experience and were we are in life is a choice. Not choosing to replace our patterns to ones that do serve us is also a choice! That once we are aware and recognize our patterns they lose their hold on us, because once we are consciously aware of our pattern we have a choice to change it to a pattern than does serve us. That we have the ability to choose how to feel every day, and that those choices will lead to a better place in life. I also learned that I have to apply all of these to my own life since I have deep rooted patterns that repeat for years now. Thank you again for reminding me that I need to make more conscious decision to change my patterns.

Brother Ed, This truly did resonate with me. Thank you for this amazing content first off! I do at times bring myself and my temperature down when I get a win in life. I myself disrupt that possitive pattern. I have been aware of this for quite some time now. However, I have altered that mentality with, continually telling myself that I am world class & that I can do whatever it is that I'm doing! I continuously feed my mental capacity with good thoughts so that my new patterns take over, and I don't revert back to the old pattern. I have done that with my old business and I have seen that happen recently with my new business and I have put a stop to it. I do want more bliss in my life as well as my son's life. When you continue to be evangelical about the things that you do, and how you serve other's in my opinion, you will gain more bliss each and every day. But the moment you stop serving other's & God (or whomever you believe in), then the old patterns kick right back and your subconscious goes into over drive trying to disrupt the new patterns you have created for yourself. Brother Ed, it is a true honor to have this amazing content at my disposal. So thank you for this and continue doing what you love to do sir. God bless & have an amazing day. #Maxout #IAmWorldClass #HoustonTX #SingleDadLife
