Overcome the 'I Am Not Enough' Mentality with Ed Mylett and Lewis Howes

The journey to GREATNESS begins with believing YOU ARE ENOUGH.
LEWIS HOWES is talking to you this week on the Ed Mylett Show about overcoming challenges and tapping into your own GREATNESS.
Nothing could have prepared him for what he faced after his father’s near-fatal car accident and an injury that ended his pro football career after one season. Lewis has a remarkable story about OVERCOMING ADVERSITY and finding a NEW PURPOSE in life.
We cover a lot of things this week, including…
🏆 Subconscious blocks rooted in FEAR, SUCCESS, and JUDGMENT.
🏆 STRATEGIES to process the “I AM NOT ENOUGH” mentality.
🏆 The difference between SUCCESS VS. GREATNESS.
🏆 What are the COURAGEOUS questions to ask ourselves.
🏆 METHODS for inner child healing and SELF-LOVE.
Lewis ends with an emotional story about how his relationship with his dad changed over the years and how it has impacted him to this day, which really touches me as you know my father means the world to me!
From start to finish, this is a POWERFUL hour about how you can take Lewis’s learnings around how he has overcome INTERNAL and EXTERNAL challenges and APPLY THEM TO YOUR LIFE.
This episode will help you develop YOUR GREATNESS MINDSET.

7:18 Lewis talks about forgiving his younger self! WOW, I’ve been tough on myself in the past entirely to much but just the other day I was having a conversation with my wife. It was our 20th anniversary of our first date and said. I’ve been really tough on myself over the years. I was wrong. I did good. She said. You did good. That’s all I needed. Celebrate God. Celebrate life. Love is the way. #MAXOUT

Lewis just hit me with a BIG synchronicity right at the beginning....just by mentioning that! It does work when you change your mindset! This is one of the greatest interviews ever. I've recently removed the last remaining items that I know were not serving me, and began a daily morning meditation, journaling, and most importantly finding and expressing GRATITUDE in all I do. I can honestly say the results have been nothing short of incredibly profound. I am seeing signs every single day, and shocking synchronicities...such as when Lewis mentioned that right in the beginning of the show. Change your mindset, and your goals and dreams are well within your reach. ♥️

SYNCHRONICITY: I have been getting in touch with a deeper meaning of spirituality and prayer in the past few weeks....Looking at God's will, rather than only mine. Also, looking at being of service and praying for guidance to be a better person, especially when challenged. So, when I came upon this interview and it opened with prayer....that was enough synchronicity for me!!! I also need to celebrate that child that got me through soooo much....and that was a message I took from the interview, as well. I struggle with " I am not enough...," particularly in certain areas, but now I am asking myself "So what? Be the best you can be, anyway....No one else is YOU...." SO, THANK YOU TO BOTH OF YOU FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE.

Ed, thank you! Thank you very much! This show was made for me. Most of us grow up broken. Raised by broken parents, broken teachers, broken bosses at work later, or broken/failed "leaders" we do business with that we are completely and constantly self-sabotaging ourselves. The funny thing is, most of the time, we don't really know that we are killing ourselves (subconscious mind). My takeaway from this interview is to have mercy on myself. Have mercy on you, Guy! Again, thanks, Ed! Thanks, Lewis!

Luv Lewis & Ed is a great mentor- If the face you always show the world is a mask, someday there will be nothing beneath it. Because when you spend too much time concentrating on everyone else’s perception of you, or who everyone else wants you to be, you eventually forget who you really are. So don’t fear the judgments of others; you know in your heart who you are and what’s true to you. You don’t have to be perfect to impress and inspire people. Let them be impressed and inspired by how you deal with your imperfections. ALSO- The world doesn’t owe you anything, you owe the world something. So stop daydreaming and start DOING. As they say, develop a backbone not a wishbone. Take full responsibility for your life - take control your next step. You are important and you are needed. It’s too late to sit around and wait for somebody to do something someday. Someday is now; the somebody the world needs is YOU. peace🕊

wow so well articulated,i can totally relate like your looking in at your life but kind of on the sidelines but somehow your not participating-I have those thoughts but bring them into the open with yourself and people you trust emphatically,Try focus on emotions that raise you up,it’s tough but slowly it can get easier-Many of the most meaningful results you will ever achieve in your life - the milestones, the relationships, the love, the lessons - come from the little things you do repeatedly, every single day. Regardless of your unique talents, knowledge, life circumstances, or how you personally define success and happiness, you don’t suddenly become successful and happy. You become successful and happy over time based on your willingness to try again and again - to create little daily rituals that amass gradual progress, through thick and thin.and have fun along the way, your on the journey and you have shown courage to try and develop etc,The only ImpossibleJourney is the one you choose to never take! peace. Ed🕊

In Science of Mind we say there is no healing, only a revealing of our True Self, Being one with God means we are not separate and hence our natural state is Perfect Whole and Complete we have only forgotten.

I have been watching Lewis for year and always trusted only his broadcast ,what he said about you Ed was true. After watching your Broadcast everything that I needed to understand moving forward that you guys spoke about. Was confirmed by a total stranger by telling me about their past and the way he had to see things and writing all his thoughts and fears down to get through it all. I may not have the same history but I need to achieve my greatness and I believe it is through your show I was opening to taking the information need for my Journey from my new friend. Thank you

I really do need peace, clarity and freedom. I'm on my way in a business as an entrepreneur. In order to succeed, this business is forcing me to develop and growth. In order to be successful, I need to serve others and everything about success will follow. As Lewis talks, he says about relationships and values. I realize that my boundaries need to be. I put myself into relationships where I pleased one human being too. I learned painfully and starting to mend, and I will keep my value system. I will keep what serves me and get rid of what doesn't serve me.

28 year old here: I wish I knew this at 21 when I was younger. - It's okay not to know what your next step is -Trust life for there is already a greater plan for you -Past failures and mistake do not mean future failures - Take responsibility for everything in your life - the good and the bad. Take life into your own hands. - Many people will want to be in your life once you are successful, but do not forget how they ignored you when they saw no value in you. Never forget that. It shows a lot about them and who they are - Always remember those who believed in you when no one else did. Show gratitude to them. even if it's years later - When you are in a position to help someone, do it - Every storm runs out of rain. And it's usually followed by a beautiful bright rainbow. Life is a beautiful thing.

I’m loving hearing the “I am enough” conversation outside the spiritual community (usually considered woo-woo types) AND by two athletes, who I’ve never before heard it discussed in this manner. Yay!! FINALLY!!

Ed EMDR therapy has done the deeper inner healing work you both talked about for me. It helps redefine the Traumatic events that are hurting us. It’s brings us into closure with those events. EMDR plus The HOLY SPIRIT equaled the healing no counselor could touch. Amen

I literally just finished some training today I opted to take from a former top Sales rep of Tony Robbins. The training she was doing was all about how to get more organized and some of the beliefs we tell ourselves as to why we can’t become more organized. She had us write down some of the lies we tell ourselves and the first thing I wrote down was, I don’t feel like I am enough. Talk about synchronicity! Then I immediately found this episode.
