My guest today needs absolutely no introduction - Deepak Chopra. If you’ve ever followed this work, my podcast here you would know I normally am not the type of person that would get excited by a rockstar or a top athlete but, when I meet one of my teachers I am so humbled in his presence, and I am so grateful for the opportunity. We met a couple of times. The first time was around the time I published my first book, I had no idea what I was doing. Deepak’s always been Deepak, and we spoke together on a panel in New York City, where obviously he knew a million times more than I did but, he was so kind and so generous. For every question that came to the panel, Deepak would look at me and say “I think Mo would answer this better.” No, I would not answer it better, but the confidence and kindness of his encouraging me to do what I was doing, is probably the reason I am here today speaking to you, and probably the reason you’ve heard of my work.
I have learned so much from Deepak that I honestly feel I spent a retreat with him because I followed all of his work, and I always found nuggets of wisdom that are summarized in such a precise and articulate way that it would blow me away. It’s such a joy because today is the second time I meet my teacher.
Deepak Chopra is a world-renowned speaker and author. He is the founder of The Chopra Foundation, a non-profit entity researching well-being and humanitarianism, and Chopra Global, a health company at the intersection of science and spirituality. He is also a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, San Diego and serves as a senior scientist with Gallup Organization. Deepak has written over 90 books, including numerous New York Times bestsellers. Chopra has been at the forefront of the meditation revolution and his 93rd book, Living in the Light (Harmony Books) taps into the ancient Indian practice of Royal Yoga. TIME magazine has described Dr. Chopra as “one of their top 100 most influential people.”
Listen as we discuss:
- Figuring out our identity
- ‘I’ is a constant and infinite
- Artificial Intelligence, Digital Deepak and consciousness
- How awareness unites us
- There is no universe
- ‘Our life is a dream’
- Perplexity and entropy
- What is happening right now
- Space is awareness
- The Multiverse and The Singularity
- Sensations, Images, Feelings and Thoughts
- You are not the roles you play - You are the awareness
- Superintelligence
- Love is the ultimate truth
- The more you know, the less you know
- ‘God’s language is silence’
- Resist or Flow

For me, I leaned in when Mo led with “because we believe we are the avatar not the dreamer”. When Deepak said “you’re a non local being having a local experience and the locality is based on false identity”, I had the same reaction as Mo… 🤯🤯🤯🤯

❤ Love Deepak, he explains everything so eloquently! Need to listen to this many times to soak in all the wisdom. The "I" that he speaks of is the "I Am" in Biblical scripture. I Am the way. I Am the beginning and the end. I Am the Alpha and the Omega. I Am the door. I Am the light. I Am the good shepherd. I Am the resurrection etc. All these references refer to God being our own consciousness, our awareness of being. And in the Sanskrit phrase "Tat Tvam Asi" (I Am That). I Am that, you are that, all this is that, and that's all there is! 😀God bless you Deepak for sharing your wisdom with the world ❤

I am about inbetween you two amazing guys in age. A bit closer to Mo - Looking for awnsers like so many others. On my journey I now reached here. And I totally get it. The reason I watched this episode is because I saw Stephen´s episode with Mr Chopra and he expressed about after death: "dreaming on". That hooked me, because that is my belief or hope or idea or fantasy already. I have a horse since 22 years, the same horse, and I once experienced his way of sensing the "water snake". I heard it how he heard it. I had my hand on his back when this happened and it is a one-time-experience, but I was sure I got his perception for a nano second. So I get this with different speice´s perception. I also saw you Mo - in a wonderful conversation with Stephen. Very eye opening. Thank you! Greetings from Sweden 🥰

I never though I would share this so publicly. But I do have some thoughts about this, so here we go... (I penned down these words a few days ago, in the stillness of the night. It was an impromptu reflection, without giving it much thought.) At times, I find myself immersed in profound contemplations about the universe and the intricate tapestry of existence surrounding us. To some, understanding these intricacies is akin to decoding mathematical formulas. Though I may not be mathematically inclined, over the years, I've often stumbled upon insights that, to my astonishment, mirror age-old philosophical ideologies or religious beliefs. It's as if I'm tapping into a fundamental truth that has always existed. What is the essence of life? Who are we, and why do we exist? It's about the collective "we", not just the individual "I". Recently, another such revelation came to me, one I've not encountered elsewhere in such depth. Imagine our existence on this planet as a series of rebirths, transitioning not just among human lives but perhaps even as animals. Our consciousness evolves with each life. Picture the human mind as a radio, tuning into a chosen frequency. Each life is a unique melody, and while a song may conclude, the broadcast continues. This music, this experience of life, is shared, not just by me, but by countless others. It's as if we undergo multiple lives concurrently. Does time even have a say in this? Perhaps I could be reborn in the past. To what end? To learn, to gather experiences. For whose benefit? Ours. It's possible that we're fragments of a larger existence, a consciousness accumulating experiences through the myriad lives on Earth. Every entity has a purpose and value. I remain hopeful that there exists a cosmic balance, discerning right from wrong. I believe we all contribute to the enlightenment of this grand entity. I visualize this overarching consciousness as a sphere, reminiscent of the sun, yet tranquil, not fiery or rigid - like a vast, ethereal bubble, a "Bubble Intelligence", if you will. What if ours isn't the only such consciousness in the universe? Observations of extraterrestrial beings might hint at entities hailing from another Bubble Intelligence, perhaps more advanced, more self-aware. This might explain their reluctance to contact us, wishing not to hinder our own growth or offering assistance that overshadows our learnings. They might be subtly guiding us, their presence barely noticeable. But why this relentless pursuit of knowledge? Why experience numerous lives? Every insect, plant, and human might be integral to this Bubble Intelligence, striving to amass experiences. Some claim to dream of the future. Could they have already lived it, or seen it from a different viewpoint? And who's to say the scope of this Bubble Intelligence isn't even grander? Beyond just the lives on our planet - past, present, or future - it might span parallel universes, exploring every potential outcome and eventuality. Why such musings? I've always perceived myself as quite creative. Yet, who knows? Perhaps there's more to it, and there's a grain of truth in these ponderings. Well, maybe not the part about the aliens. They're probably just another facet of us. ;-) Lately, I've experienced numerous synchronicities, always giving me the reassuring sensation of being on the right path. Watching this video invoked a similar sentiment, prompting me to share my thoughts here. Typically, I wouldn't voice such reflections openly. Just to clarify, I don't ardently champion my thoughts; I merely find them intriguing and notice many parallels with the ideas of Mr. Deepak Chopra. Thank you for reading ✌

Muscling in from a Christian perspective, we (a small group in England) see ourselves each as a child of God. Our aim is to transform by degrees into the likeness of Christ by the renewing of our mind. We have a good time in the process. We study the scriptures and try to apply them to our lives. Prior to becoming a Christian I did a tour of various religions meeting Deepak several decades ago. I am not conventional in my beliefs and sometimes perplex my students with my scientific and Cosmopolitan perspective. We are all a spark of Universal consciousness, God for me. Love and blessings to you both as you wrestle with the big questions xx

Good afternoon Deepak and Mo I again thank you both for your truly reassuring sensemaking. Been delightfully discombobulated by all of this for a sustained period of TIME. Without the wee bitz of sensemaking, untill very recently. In my forty nine years of 'Eperience' so far.. whatever this is, it most definitely is mine.!😀 Over about two years now my entire world view has shifted lanes. Thanks to you and many others here. So very Grateful. For many beautiful realisations, of late. Thankyou. 💜

❤Profound Love. Thankyou. Such a blessing. Deepest gratitude. How easy it is to forget, but the joy is in remembering .. what a funny game this spec of life. And so true.. how can we not be amazed that we exist at all. We know nothing yet here we are, held in the all knowing and slowly remembering that we are that ❤

Aw I absolutely loved this conversation,, I can’t tell you watching you Mo taking in this oh so wise man’s words 🤗 I’m trying to take in his words too , trying… is all this real or not ? Suppose it just comes down to taking each day as they come whilst waiting for plans to manifest, god knows, gods plans , who knows…
