Spoiler Alert: God Did Not Create the Universe

Most religions are wrong. Science is incomplete and its cosmology has innumerable loopholes. Richard Dawkins and his colleagues of militant atheists are also bamboozled by their delusions. The mystery of existence is much grander! Apologies for offending anyone, just sharing my views.

You’ve touched the classic verse-2:24 of the Bhagavad Geeta that says exactly this. “Brahmarpanam Brahma havih, Brahmagnau, Brahmanahutam, Brahmaiva Tena Gantavyam Brahma Karma Samadhina” Transliterated in current vocabulary it means: Consciousness is the ladle which pours out all experiences, Consciousness is the content (via Maya) of all experiences, Consciousness is the fire from and into which these experiences appear and disappear, Consciousness is the person experiencing the experiences. Anyone who deeply knows this gets absorbed in and attains the supreme state of Becoming (merging with) Consciousness while still alive and active.

Hey Edward my bad if I came off insensitive bro. I must say it was your faith that saved your life. You were born with your faith but along the way of growing up the world beat your childhood heart into hiding and you forgot your Divine connection-the Bible was a tool you chose to use to remind yourself what your soul already knew. You had the power to speak life health and prosperity from day one but we all got bamboozeled out of our Sacred inheritance. They taught us out inheritance comes after we die but that’s some bullshit my bro. Your inheritance is here now on those higher frequencies of awareness my friend. Forgive me for saying but I firmly believe Any Religion that denies you’re born BLESSED is contrary to your sacred soul 🙏🏾🎶🕺🏾🥳

I read "Course in Miracles" with a group of people here in Alexandria, VA. And for two years we ploughed on along with little understanding or better put, with bits and pieces of clarity with a giant helping of confusion mostly. This all changed when years later someone gave me a little book titled "The 50 Miracle Princples of a Course In Miracles," by Ken Wapnick. Highly recommend reading that first if you wish to understand "The Course, " as its known. I am saving you years here (l hope). Its a very important material for any spiritual seeker. It is also very powerful if you actually implement its teachings. It has a way of working in your life even if you haven't fully understood its message. Just as Chopra is saying here, The Course says God did not invent the universe. If you are going to read it, be open to where it may take you. Your agenda or whatever you wanted to "get out of it" will have to be set aside. (It) has another agenda for you. A wonderful one! Best wishes!

Before I listen my first thought upon reading the caption for this… One afternoon after exploring some caves with my husband I was inspired with the thoughts of creation. Maybe a story, perhaps through messages that I picked up on from listening to you. Anyhow I tried my best to explain that we create through our own visions and that each flower, plant, building, animal, and everything we see it a creation that was first a thought we imagined. That maybe many years would pass until it became what we imagined but never the less everything is what we have created through our own imagination and expression. In such a way this will always be and in such a way we can and do choose our environment. Behold we are the creators!

Hello Beautiful Dr., I use to easily slip into the void when I was a child, and I would pull out as soon as I touched it. At some point, I stopped going. As an adult, I remembered I use to Journey there easily and stopped out of fear from lack of understanding and I had decided that I want to journey back that I was older and I had no reason to fear. It took me a year and a half to make my way to reaching the void again. During meditation I went into the void, while there, there was a spark, and I saw the spark as it had a thought, it spread itself out. The spark wanted to know why it did that, and it sought answers. The spark decided to splinter itself outward to help search for the answers. I realized that the questions and search for knowledge is in what I call our soul DNA, being we are all fitted with the same question/questions. Then I saw how we are all the spark, that we are Pure Essence, Pure Energy, and Pure Experience. It was a powerful vision shared in the Void the Spark. I felt the need to share. Love and blessings. Sandy

Really enjoyed watching your video. Earlier, that everything was consciousness sounded like such a magical concept to me. But after contemplating on this for over a decade, Now everything reversed itself 180degs in my perception. I now find that 'everything is consciousness' to be the most obvious fact shining ever-present in my experience, While all the worldly ideas, theories, concepts look like powerful fantastical magical spells, How could someone miss the obvious, is so baffling. Also baffling, that I myself needed the help of so many great masters for very long to understand this. It is oddly the greatest of mysteries and the most natural obvious knowing. Somehow every time I contemplate on this and try to express it in my mind, it brings a lot of joy.

Deepak, long-time meditators will recognize what you say as true, even if they might use other words. Religious people will find that you offer an evolved alternative to childish stories that could not conceptualize beyond "a human God up there in the sky". Scientists who have advanced beyond Dawkins' response will find your theory elegant and deserving of attention. I believe most religious people are searching beyond literal interpretations of their religion, and most scientists are also way beyond the concepts dealt with by militant atheists. I really think that anyone who is sincerely looking for answers will consider your words carefully, and maybe even verify them with their experiences and insights. Ridicule, etc., comes only from those who are too far away to even hear you, so don't mind that, please. But I think religion and science might require two different languages, with different sets of concepts, in order to communicate these new insights. Yes, even today, when most people have a good understanding of science, not everyone is suited, willing, or interested in following scientific arguments. Gyan yoga and bhakti yoga are different because humans are different 🙂 Thank you for speaking both languages equally well!

Deepak talks about the ultimate realization, that everything is God (=the source, potential, and true nature of everything). Still, in my experience, the sense of closeness to God, if that's what you are referring to, is very precious. It is shared by all those who explore divinity as an inner experience. One feels so close, and one day one merges completely. The process is described in detail by many teachers, including Deepak.

As humans, we tend towards a tangible understanding that satisfies our limited form of understanding. In fact, what we have done throughout our own lives on Earth is to expand this understanding by always creating answers that for some of us are palpable and therefore more comfortable. The level of 'security' or something that explains why we are here and who this creator is. On this evolutionary path, perhaps, one day, we can accept that everything is an expression of this force. 🙏

There is nothing but consciousness which is God. We can't comprehend the totality and beauty of God. Deepak you are a blessing

This is clearly Dvaita vada or the principle of non-dualism found in the Vedanta scriptures of ancient India. The all pervading, all knowing, formless and ever existing conscious principle known as the Godhead, has no source, no beginning and no end and is simultaneously the experience and the experiencer. As integral components of that Godhead, we exist as individual rays of light that are one with the flame. The transcendent yogi attains Sayujya-mukti (liberation) when he/she upon loosing all attachments finally merges into it. I hope you will write a book about this known but little understood aspect of the all pervasive God.

During a time of awakening, these words came out, “you are not the god of my life (ie a god yearned for from sleepy ignorance) for I’m am the god of my own.” It was a strident reality, and seemed radical to the mind. Your talk hovers upon the event horizon, beyond which, little can be said. Bless you brother

Organized religion has such a 2-dimensional death grip dogma that it clings to that it simply cannot see the broader picture. They tell us that God is omnipotent, but they have no idea what that really means. Thank you for this clear, eloquent, and courageous explanation of what God really is. God is indeed so much greater than just the 2D explanation offered by organized religion.

Thanks Deepak for defining the wow factor. Enlightened yes, infinitive yes. My thoughts, once the bodies alignment is able, the thought of god is correct and only then untangling the weave of mystery can be determined. Patience needed to observe the vastness most definitely, third eye communications will always keep my intrigue belonging. Life is to be loved, permanently.

Wow!! My initial response to this amazing offering is this: I akin this to what Jesus said, upon this rock or foundation I’ll build my church. Then the rock was shattered (by Science & religion). But the true foundation wasn’t touched, nor was it really established. It just made it’s appearance, then quickly flickered in & out making a blurred line, until the line disappeared.. and reappeared… Hello!!❣️❣️🤣🤣🤣🙏🏽👍🏽✌🏽👍🏽 Thanks My Dear Brother Deepak… a True Trailblazer… into the known as well as unknown…& I love it😊
