I totally agree with you both. This year has been wild, and it feels like nobody has a clue what's going to happen next. I’ve started focusing more on fundamentals and long-term strategies rather than trying to ride the short-term waves. It’s still tough, but a bit less stressful.

It got twisted into a political weapon during the 20th century to further the capitalist cause against socialism and look at the devastation that caused. Why? Because the vast majority of people don't care about politics, they just want to live their lives in peace and be able to flourish. When labels like Left and Right are used in the way they been over the last century, the people are dumbed down into a division between two teams, team Left and team Right. And when nations have multi-million dollar sports entertainment entrenched in their national identity, that tribalist mentality spills over into how people view politics. The entire way we do politics needs to change if the people are to not just feel like their say matters, but know it matters. People voting from the perspective of Left or Right is flawed.

You used to be able to argue that running a pharmaceuticals company was a pursuit in the interest of others, but when his own board fought him in his efforts to increase medication costs, he just left.
