The student loan mess is because they can't make enough $ to pay it back. We subsidize horribly expensive degrees for which there is no demand in the real world market (but they can get government jobs and that is a problem) We need plumbers and electricians not diversity trainers.

Before he dropped out, Vivek was the other half of my dream ticket with Trump. I'd like to see Trump-Vivek in '24, then Vivek taking over from Trump in '28. What we need is a few terms of businessmen (and women) running this country, instead of career politicians. People who've made money on the open market are also much less open to bribes, and aren't busy trying to steal as much as they can get while in office, because they know that they can make it in the outside world.

Man I hope so too. He was going to be my Presidential vote. His comments have consistently been that he would accept a role that makes best use of his skills. I wonder what position Vivek wouldn't accept baesd on that criteria. Another comment said Chief of Staff as a good position. Bergum is my governor and I worked in the state legislature in 2016 and met him a few times. His acceptance speech on the Senate floor was hard to watch. He cried like 5 times and couldn't speak. Being emotional is fine, but it also came off as weakness to many of us there. I don't see why Trump would pick him. He doesn't have any national recognition and ND is in the bag for Trump for sure. He's a good businessman, as he worked with Bill Gates in his youth and made a lot of money that way, but I still don't see why he would get chosen for VP. It doesn't make sense

The live stream of Biden rally just now was playing music with F words and horrific content for the rally held in a Middle School and open to the public in the middle of the afternoon!! And WHERE is Biden???? Outrageous!!!

@@scotmandel6699 He's still young, which means he has a long political career ahead of him, it also means that he doesn't have a ton of political capital, yet. A Lieutenant in the Army might outrank a Sergeant Major, as far as the letter of the law is concerned, but that doesn't mean anyone will respect or carry out the Lieutenant's orders with 100% accuracy. Put someone like General Flynn in the Position of VP and it sends a message to the world that the US isn't fucking around anymore. Let Vivek sharpen his teeth owning the libs for 4 years as Press Secretary. I cant think of anyone better suited for the role of Press Secretary in 2024, its the public face of the administration, he is well versed in current social issues and quite vocal about them, he is an excelled orator. He's perfect to serve as the conservative bridge to the next generation. If you make Vivek VP now, you really wont hear him talking for the next 4 years because he'll be too busy dealing with bureaucracy and the libs hate him so much that they will put up political and policy barricades preventing him from really doing anything at all. Military commanders have a scary amount of political capital and are generally respected by both political parties, hence General Flynn for VP.
