Not completely but I’d say near impossible. If they’re struggling on offense throwing the ball or finding rhythm someone is gonna say something. Much easier to not get Gus involved in the game as opposed to Henry is all I’m saying

@@billymartin5657they had the worst ranked offensive line according to PFF and he still managed to rush for 1000 yards after contact which was second most in the NFL to go along with 12 TD’s on 4.2 YPC that’s hardly washed.

Ravens being the #1 run offense last year and running the ball like 3 times in the afc championship this year was nasty work. They got no excuse to not run it now.

I've always like the guy and he seems to have been under-rated for most his career. He's got a 4.4 YPC average after seven seasons of toting the ball. Lot's of college RB's out there just dreaming to be able to say that.

RBs in general have been devalued over the last 20 years. The position as a whole, because of the investment risk - age and injuries. There is a full pipeline of RBs who can step in off the practice roster or the return team who can give you 10-12 carries a game for a spell. RBBC has killed the RB pay packet. Henry is one of a kind - a legit bell-cow in 2024 - but he is a "kind" - a RB

Last year... The Ravens are screwing Lamar by not getting him any weapons on the outside. They get weapons and have a rinse and repeat of the year before. This year... They haven't had a consistent RB. So they get Henry. What will the excuse be going forward if it still isn't enough for post season success? The guy insisted on being paid $52M/yr. Go out there and win. He's playing for one of the best organizations, one of the best coaches, and has one of the best overall rosters.

How the f did they sign the king for 2 yr 20mil

The whole stat about 1000 yd seasons with Ravens is kind of deceiving because they do it by committee

Cam didn’t fight Mac for the job, nor did he rock the boat in NE. He even questioned “who said I can’t get along with bill?” That was all media driven. He wanted to play but wasn’t going great in NE. Outside of one Sean at 10-7, NE fell off bad. Even Brady left

The one thing I think Acho misconstrued here is that the Ravens haven’t had an inconsistent or lacking run game over the last few years. We haven’t had a feature RB but we’ve had the #1 rushing team since Lamar became the starter. This just juices up something we’ve been amazing at. This is gonna be scary. Could Lombardi Szn be coming in Baltimore??
