What no one is really talking about is what's gonna happen when Keaton Mitchell comes back. You could have Lamar, Henry and Keaton in the backfield, with 300lb Pat Ricard blocking for them while Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers are keeping the secondary occupied. That is ridiculous.

im not worried as a chiefs fan ravebns gonna choke they beat the ravens because kc was just better not because ravens didnt run the ball enough because patrick mahomes had the ball last ravens only scored 10 so kc doesnt have to worry about stopping lamar and derick because the ravens wont be around long enough last year they cant replicate it ravens got to worry about stopping the trio of patrick mahomes travis kelce and rashee rice and whatever reciever they get in the draft nothing anybody did i like wow im afraid of themso if the ravens are looking to be a favorite nothing they would have done would have made them a favorite i think they are barely top 5 in the afc and the chiefs have one of if not the best defense in the nfl

Bro King Henry was a bad offensive line broke 1100 yards king Henry is a different beast bro like he hasn’t had any major injuries and like I said that Titans they had the bad wide receiver course so I did not open the run and then when the run was going, the offensive line wasn’t playing great and he still made 1100 yards likeit’s for sure he’ll have over 1000 yards this season no doubt

Best regular season record 2 of 4 years (2019 & 2023). Add D Henry, and whoever and they get to be dynamic upcoming season. Odd team. They lose great players each year and yet are always in the running. Pop goes the weasel.

@@nightmarekilo84 I think their problems vs the chiefs was the lack of a quick passing game. Everything is always so deep & intermediate passes. The chiefs secondary was great last year and they got the best of the Ravens pass offense.

2:05 I disagree with Rob and TD. they went away from the run because they went away from the run. Kansas City did not make them do that. It was their choice and it made them lose. If Jim Brown was on that team and they only ran it six times, they would’ve lost then as well.

I think what he was saying is the Ravens are less likely to choose to abandon the run because of the big name RB. Henry forces you to make him a big part of the gameplan. Granted, the Ravens always seem to outsmart themselves in the process of trying to outsmart the other team, so I'm not sure it's enough. 🤷🏻

KC also had a great defense and played a very run heavy scheme..thats why they opted to pass more..

The thing that no one is understanding here is that in that playoff game against the Chiefs this year they needed Derrick Henry they were getting straight to Lamar. They were stopping his run and his throws. Henry would’ve won that game for them.

The ravens are a linebacker foundry for the NFL. Losing queen is recoverable. They have an lb on the bench or they draft one. I expect the flock to draft a lineman and linebacker in their first 3 picks wherever they pick.

the biggest benefit is that Lamar contract was a new contract not an extension so they can make signings and trades without worrying about a “financial window” for the team since his new cap charges kicked in at signing. The future Bears QB Caleb Williams will have more weapons at the WR position than Lamar has ever had. Two *TRUE* WR1s in DJ Moore & Keenan Allen in their prime. He had one lone WR with over 1,000 yards in 'Hollywood' Brown barely. (1,008 rec. yards on 91 catches) And this is goin' into year 7 for Lamar. He had one RB Mark Ingram who had over 1,000 rushing yards, barely, once with the Ravens. (1,018 rushing yards) Bears RB D'Andre Swift just had over 1,000 rushing w/ Eagles. (1,049 rushing yards) With that bein' said Lamar's rushing yards are impressive as a QB. He had *NO* consistent 1,000 yard RB. Meanwhile, they are #1 in rushing yards every season. I wonder why? 🤔🤨 Lastly, this notion that Lamar "can't throw" is nonsense. Imagine a 2x MVP QB who so-called "can't throw?" What does that say about the rest of the league? All Zay Flowers had to do was hold on to the ball and it’s anybody’s game with full quarter left. 10 points isn’t a big enough lead to abandon running the ball vs a chiefs defense that was bad against the run a week before. They were good vs the pass.

Even behind the 23rd ranked offensive line he had 4 of his weapons go over 1,000 yards only becoming the 6th team to do so. You want to keep going? He led the NFL in passer rating (116.9), QBR (74.2), completion percentage (70.2) and yards per pass attempt (9.9) in his first full season. You wanna talk about how he wasn’t the most valuable player? I remember in 2022 a healthy deebo, ayuik, Trent, CMC, offense and defense yet they only managed to put up a miserable 7 points against the eagles in the NFC championship game when he got injured. The team starts and ends with the quarterback bro it’s always been that way and it will never change. He played like an MVP and he deserved to be in the conversation. Lamar ran away with the award and never looked back, much respect to the ravens.

This move to acquire Derrick Henry is a direct result of Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs beating Baltimore Ravens in playoffs. However Chiefs won last year with a great defense. There’s still only one football so the odds for Ravens to win is slightly because it’s still dependent upon Lamar Jackson performance in playoffs which he hasn’t proven yet. AFC is still Chiefs division until proven otherwise.
