well, he is a bit dim. The Queen and Charles liked her as well....the Cambridges, Wessex and Princess Anne had her sussed right from the start as a gold digger who would damage the family. Most people, who are familiar with the RF protocols, have heard that potential marital partners are not invited to the traditional RF Christmas. I’ve heard it mentioned by reporters, in the past. Just the same”racism” claims have been basically weaponized, and no one, except maybe a true, died in the wool, racist, wants to be accused of being one. So, indeed, it could have been hurled as a way to get one’s way. That would be pretty typical of the world in which we currently live. Sadly, it was pulled out and used in an attempt to create horror at a convenient time.

They wanted their image changed from white European. They were delighted that madmeg had a drop of African ancestry. She was easy on the eyes, an actress presumably capable of royal life and had a charming facade before the wedding. I'm sure the rf were caught off guard by her constant need for attention while crying privacy. A complete ingrate & probably narcissistic is Henry and his wife.

The Royal Family treated her like she was a queen. They gave her the best of treatment. God Bless Prince Charles.

Princess Diana was the most hunted and photographed woman EVER !! That poor lady didn't have anyone she could trust or speak to in case they sold it to the media, William was witness to this more so than Harry. Kate had to put up with for 10 years the press who hounded her, the things they called her was diabolical, but she did what you should always do never respond, because William took so long to make her his, everyone thought it would never happen I didn't he just needed time to make sure that she had the necessary backbone to cope with been front page and centre, and she proved not only was she well equipped for the job she flourished and is now a very much loved and respected member of the household and the press loves her. Her parents have given William something that he never had and that was a place he could just be himself. William has had so much more to learn than Harry had to. The one person he was supposed to have been able to count on was his brother only to find out he is a snake in the grass, I don't believe MM is totally to blame I do believe she was the detonator and that she romanced a 12 year old boy who is trapped inside a 36 year old man. That is disgraceful she has pushed everyone of his buttons, the press hounding her, people attacking her according to her, people forget she was an actress and this is ROLE OF HER LIFETIME, everything you see is an act.

That Harry was ill prepared for someone like his wife and could not see through her...That they made protocol exceptions for Harry’s wife, and that they didn’t lock Harry up in the Tower for forty years as soon as his wife started showing her true self. (Maybe not the last one🙄) I live in L.A. I went to college in Malibu. There is a whole different type of celebrity about, these days, than in my college years, when well-knows showed up at the humble markets in town, bare-faced and casual. We all left them alone, except for the same courtesies we’d show others. Just the same, Harry’s wife is a whole different animal. It’s really a shame that he thought she was the answer to his prayers. I read, some time ago, that he thought he would need a celeb type, so the person could handle media. He definitely chose the wrong one.

@@PK-gw2rz I think that it wasn’t really a “ racism” question. I think that they very much wanted Harry to be happy. They also really hoped to give his intended a warm welcome and a good start. That’s why they bent protocol, etc. They really wanted things to go well for them. Her claim that she received no support or training doesn’t sound right. I recall some trusted staff being appointed to provide support and I believe there was security training, too. Perhaps she was trying to portray self confidence and ended up giving the impression that she was beyond the support and training, offered. There may have been more of a tendency to enter like a hurricane than a soft breeze. That can go bad very quickly when approaching new situations, jobs, etc, in such a manner. I have learned that by making my own mistakes in new situations. .

Yesterday, I viewed the moment William and Catherine were at the alter. She was absolutely stunning and radiant, if a bit nervous. Typical bride (only stunning!). William looked like he didn't know if he would vomit or pass out. Typical groom. I've watched a best man pass out. Made for a memorable wedding, but the gaiety it invoked would have been lost, had it been the groom - the future king - who'd keeled over. Imagine livestreaming that one! "Yes and it appears our future King, William, has just keeled over. From this angle is seems he'd locked his knees, to keep them from knocking, and instead suffered the consequences of blood flow to his head being cut off. He just tipped right over, into the arms of his ring-bearer. The ring-bearer I'm told, is just seven years old. It would appear the future King _landed_ on the ring-bearer, and we are now waiting word on whether or not the boy is showing any sign of movement. A most unusual Royal Wedding, in deed!"

As an Australian and as many know we saw first hand the bullying character of Meghan Markle. It's incredible that such a nobody with a dubious shady past would be welcomed into the Royal family.

They should never let megain step into their castle from the very beginning. Ppl could see that she's just a d-list actress who wants fame and money. It's just fortunate that she finally grabbed a not so bright prince to stick with her. I will never understand how harry fell for her. There's only negative aura coming from that woman, even a blind person could sense it. Lol

Very true. They should have taken the time to get to know her, if they had they would have recognized the nefarious traits in her personality and might not allow them become working royals in the first place. I don't believe they could have stopped the wedding, but we all know the queen offered #6 and his wife not to become working royals, so that she could keep her acting career, but they refused. Had they realized they are dealing with a malignant narcissist, I believe that the option of being working royals would have been off the table.

The wife had to go at breakneck speed to get married to Harry before they and he realised what she is. I wouldn’t be surprised if she told them all she was preggers to get the engagement going. The toxic duo were making demands very early and I’m gobsmacked the royal family allowed it all and still does imo

At her age she had to rush so she could get a couple of Prince/Princesses to merch. Pregnancy bumps would not be believable on a 45/50 year old and Harry would have changed his mind and taken a younger wife.

Catherine and William got on well with her by all accounts, but she was young and put off by all the possible attention I think. She decided to do a career change and returned to South Africa and studied Jewelry making for 2 years. She has her own business creating beautiful Jewelry using South African gems.

Prince William has the best head and foresight. Diana said that when he was only 3. But no one listened. If only they listened to this noble heir to to the throne

I think Prince William has had a lifetime of looking out for, and helping out his younger brother. I’m the oldest of 3 children and that was my role. Less a playmate, more a caretaker as we all got older.

He is a wise man. He dated and then courted his own wife for a total of 10 years. He knew what he was doing. He said himself at his engagement interview that he needed to give Kate and her family time to have a good sense of that they were getting into and for Kate to opt out if she felt she couldn’t handle it. He wasn’t just grooming Kate but also her family. This a a guy that realizes that marriage to his wife is also marriage to her family and they needed to be carried along. He knew that the media will also have eyes and stuff to say or come up with about his wife’s family. See how his due diligence has turned out fir his marriage. This is apart from the fact that Kate as an individual has a good head on her shoulder as well and apparently comes from a good home. William is blessed with the wisdom of a king from above!

I couldn't understand why M was given such special treatment and coddled the way she was. I felt outraged on behalf of Kate and William! I think recollections may vary over the press protection for Catherine! I remember the press being very cruel to both her and her family. They only let up when the actress came on the scene and the press realised what a gem Catherine actually was.

Maybe a few sessions with Dr Henry Higgins before entering the Royal court may have help L.A Meghan to learn some manners and etiquette.

I think they should regret giving the pair a 30 million pound wedding. She had no intention of being a working Royal. She had and has will have her own agenda.

I too was surprised at how quickly the Queen rolled out the red carpet for Meghan, letting her basically take a royal role long before the wedding(s). Poor Catherine had to wait YEARS and here comes this bossy-boots know-it-all from La La Land getting white glove treatment right off the bat. It went cockeyed right from the start. Let William and Kate have this time with their children while they're young.There's more responsibilty than you realise being King..Charles will do a good job.

I love your tie and pocket square! As for the RF, I've no doubt they do regret following Harry's desires rather than Prince William's caution. They may also regret not digging deeper into her background; though, to be honest, that may be why H&(especially)M pushed for a quickie royal wedding. Couldn't give them too much time to properly investigate.

I was bowled over by the Markle sparkle. We had friends over to watch The Wedding. We applauded the Queen's gracious favouring of her, and imagined what wonders for charities she and Harry would achieve together, what stardust they would sprinkle. But it's as if she rooted out of Harry any such ambitions, trampled them underfoot then turned on the palace.

If you watch documentaries on William and Harry, even as children their personalities were very different. William was always more measured and cautious while Harry was impulsive and a bit of a hothead. So it’s no wonder that William was very careful in choosing his wife Catherine. A royal biographer who knew Harry and his past relationships said that Harry wanted to marry every girl he ever dated. His last two GFs turned him down. I think it was a mistake for the RF to allow Meghan into the family without some time to see if it was a good “fit” for both. Many believe she had an agenda right from the beginning of her “manhunt” in England. William saw her for what she was, not for what she wanted him to see.
