Did anyone ever end up winning? I never heard an announcement.

Cristine and Ben, I don’t know if you read these comments but I really want to point out that you guys joined KZread relatively late as compared to when KZread first started, and the KZread culture wasn’t always like this. For reference, please look at Ryan Higa and his videos from the earlier years. Many OG KZreadrs like him created videos to be fun and creative and to hang out with friends. They didn’t collaborate to gain recognition or made only the videos that got them views. However, the KZread algorithm slowly changed to make it hard for them to be successful. Ryan went from being number one on KZread to being unheard of to some people, while some other KZreadrs who spends more time having beef with others than creating good content get their names thrown around way more. Much of Ryan’s videos got demonetized and he had decided to stop making videos. KZreadrs like you and him as well as some other creative KZreadrs were what fueled my weeks, so it’s sad that everyone has stopped, taking breaks, etc. It’s definitely understandable but it’s frustrating that this is what so many great KZreadrs resort to because the entire culture of KZread has changed.

Yup, old school youtube was so much better! Also, that 1st comment on the video saying they don't like other creators, then they are looking at the wrong creators xD

Same honestly I love when they do stuff together but you know it's putting Rob's health first which is a respectable and right thing to do.

I KINDA disagree, Ben. Although I do agree that no one should be forced in to the spotlight and become a role model, I do feel that online/media "celebrities" DO have to kind of understand that they influence SO much of society AND the younger generation; My heart hopes they recognise they have a responsibility. With freedom comes great power, what you choose to do with it makes or breaks you AND the society around you. I remember back in the day when Cristine was a bit more laidback but I've been around long enough to see how much of her tone and the way she addresses her audience has changed, I respect and admire that! There's absolutely nothing wrong with the way she spoke prior, it's just that once we realise how many people look up to us, we are more careful with how we address them or what we teach them. It's that moral feeling you know you get at the back of your heart/mind, we do have a bit of an obligation to put "good", so to speak, in to the society we belong to. You wouldn't cuss someone out in the middle of the street but you may be able to in the privacy of four walls (NOT in an abusive manner, I just mean we don't necessarily express our innermost feelings publicly). What we say and do SIMPLY does, pun intended, effect the world we live in :) Each one of us, what we give out to the universe matters! :) I hope you guys understand where I'm coming from! :) And thank you for always advocating education AND being humble! :)

I would consider them "Co- workers or contractors that get paid from the company KZread? Also most people would consider it a social media network. Who often communicates and meet. Think about jobs you've had before, are you friends now? Or have you lost contact with them?

I always wondered why the pair of you repeatedly said stuff about LaurDIY. Over several videos and several years at this point. The way she dresses, the ads she did, the relationships she had, her persona online and her brand.

It might be because shes a good example since a lot of people know about her? Kinda like how they also mention pewdiepie sometimes as an example since imo a lot of people that regularly use the youtube platform know of him. But thats just my theory lol

I remember seeing a recent video where Christine was talking about a youtuber that they love watching, they usually watch him during dinner and she said you can hear him in the background of the IG stories she posts during dinner when Menchie is climbing on Ben. I usually agree with quite a lot of your opinions but cristine was giving me some “I’m not like other girls” vibes in this clip. I really feel like women especially should be uplifting each other and not put one another in boxes so easily. I really don't think she was doing that in this video. She said she probably wouldn't be friends with a certain type of youtube personality, but she also mentioned the type of girls who *are* like her and who she is/would be friends with. She's not generalizing about what all girls are like or anything like that.

Hmmm. So Christine and Safiya hate eachother? Let’s get them in the boxing ring like ksi and Logan Paul so they can cat fight.

I don’t think they hate each other, but I don’t believe they’re close friends. More so good acquaintances

Maybe stop looking at life like it’s high school and that your an adult and you may be open to more relationships there are genuine people on KZread like yourself. Just keep an open mind to the other smaller or more niche perhaps
