I am a newly qualified SW. To sum up what sw in the uk. It is a profession that takes the necessary steps to safeguard and protect children/ adults from abuse from abuse and/ or neglect.

It depends on the university, but most universities require IELTS. Just check with the university you wish to apply to, or their requirements

I have never heard about that; I am sure that it would be in the news and people would be talking about it. There will always be children who are taken from their parents if they are being abused in anyway. Children are protected in the UK.
