In regards to Cohen's credibility, I think the best thing he can do is admit to his behavior when working with the defendant, because it's exactly the kind of behavior his boss wanted from him. It's been said that the defendant is complaining that his current lawyers aren't aggressive enough, so it fits the profile.

What won't play well is responding to multiple witness testimonies, text conversations about the affair and cash trails concerning the affair with " nuh-uh. I don't know those women. I'm innocent. But there's plenty of others (Pecker, the accountant, Hope Hicks, McDougall) that are less partisan and will overwhelm that bias.

Well, he was fined the legal maximum ... this time. Next time could be jail. The judge does have to follow a progression. Going straight to jail time could be interpreted as denial of due process, and you can bet his lawyers would jump all over that opportunity.
